Our Cape Dutch-style homestead is set on a 24-acre estate with 2 pools and ensuite rooms, offering traditional South African hospitality.
Since opening our doors we have established ourselves as a Gourmet Retreat with focus being on personalised service and attention to detail. Our loyal staff are part of the Lairds family – some of which have been with us for over 25 years.
Our accommodation ranges from Standard, Deluxe and Luxury En-suite rooms, all of which lead onto private terraces and have access to the garden and pools. Rooms feature high ceilings, air-conditioning, percale linen and flat screen tv’s.
Our Food
Dinner is a sociable three course set menu, with a full vegetarian option. Chef BeeBee and team cater for all dietary requirements and are happy to chat and offer alternatives. Dinner is served in the traditional dining room, with the option of joining other guests at a large 10-12 seater table or separate smaller tables. For special occasions there is an option to sit in our candle lit wine cellar. Local wines are recommended with every meal- for a truly South African dining experience. Riedel glass tastings, whisky smoking’s & South African gin tastings are just a few of our guest experiences available in our Brandy Lounge or Monkey Bar – inspired by the troops of monkeys that entertain from the tree tops.
