Filming my cousin's wedding. It was the first I'd done, and I offered it as a gift. I was surprised by how much I loved it - and here we are!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm proud of the way in which we get along with couples. We build excellent relationships and it makes it all the more special to be able to produce a film for people you connect with.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Weddings are all about the people. No amount of worrying over details will make a wedding day special compared to the people who are part of it.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I once went to a wedding where many of the friends and family were musical, and each played songs specifically for the bride and groom. So good.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
First I like to have a call or meeting to get to know each other a bit, talk about the day and what's important to you in a wedding film. I outline my approach and process and explain the service. Once you're happy to book, we'll arrange another time to go through the day in more detail, making sure that I have notes of any important shots required, and I understand the flow of the day. Options can be added as required. After the wedding, I deliver the film within 4-8 weeks depending on the complexity.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
What's more exciting than 'you may kiss the bride'? I love that moment - it's a crescendo.
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
Lost in Translation. It's mesmerising, incredibly romantic, funny, stylish and different.
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
There are many. Something that 'feels like the couple' is best, but my personal taste is for romantic, uplifting music that builds and enhances the emotion.
Describe how you got into videography.
I started in video several years ago filming my wedding band, and went on to create hospitality and property videos. After filming my cousin's wedding as a gift, I realised how much I loved it and went full steam ahead from there.
