For a bit about Happy Pears:
I'm a videographer, I've trained to Masters level in filmmaking and I come from a long background in music video and fictional production. I've always believed that having a good base is a strong foundation for inspiring my future work.
If you watch all my videos, there's something you'll notice that's consistent across them all - there are a lot happy faces! Weddings are fun, I can't think of any other event with as much happiness in abundance. So many videos have that old fashioned slow, classical look that is just not my style of creativity. My videos are energetic and dynamic, this is the happiest day of your lives... my aim is to reflect this in my work.
It's almost impossible for you experience everything at your wedding, which is why you'll see a lot of the guests in your video. The moment where the maid of honour shared a touching moment with a family member, where grandma and mother erupted into laughter over seemingly nothing, and when your best friends who haven't seen each other in what seems like forever come together to share stories.
None of these moments are posed, they are all genuine accounts of your guests having the absolute time of their lives at your wedding. Only through video can these be experienced as vividly.
This is why I chose to do videography, we're the only booking that can offer this much memory preservation. And once all the flowers are taken down, the food is eaten, the dancing danced and the wedding car has taken your home it is your video that you will keep and cherish forever.
