Every wedding is special, but the most memorable are where the couples really put their stamp on the occasion - we've had medieval themes, steam punk, classic books, horses as ring bearers, whatever makes your day special to you.

Relax and join us for a walk and a talk around the site. You know early in your planning what will be important to you on the day and we'll ask questions about all the little details you may not have thought of yet - you don't need all the answers straight away, we can plan the special touches as we go along.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Covid changed a lot of planning processes, we've loved helping out with zoom arrangements, and walking around the grounds with WhatsApp video chat to ensure family have been able to get involved across the miles.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We close the wooden gates to at the entrance with the couple stood on the bridge. Some photographers have captured beautiful shots with the reflections in the moat.

Salmon blinis are a personal favourite, but we love to taste test all the new and inventive bites the chefs create to suit different dietary requirements

The moat and the ruin of the original castle next to the gatehouse where the ceremonies take place.
