Full Description
At the Wroxeter Hotel we have a number of innovative, all-inclusive packages such as Small & Intimate, Vintage Venus, Summer Spectacular, Oktoberfest, Magical Winter Tipi and many more. Starting from just £1,680, our packages offer excellent value for money. However, we are just as happy to come up with something completely bespoke to suit your exact requirements. Our traditional function rooms, Roman Pavilion and extensive grounds with views of the beautiful Shropshire countryside are the perfect setting for your wedding whatever time of year. Also at the Wroxeter is our rustic woodland ceremony area and summer time wild flower meadow, an enclosed section of the hotel's grounds encircled by trees and away from the hotel building. Our giant Kata tipis complete with fairy lights, furniture and bar are situated next to the woodland ceremony area and available for canapés, cocktails, and your wedding breakfast. The Mongolian Yurt provides an innovative, quirky touch for your ceremony or drinks reception. Warm, dry and accessible for all it offers something different without risk from the weather. Nearby Morrells Wood Farm is a genuine working farm complete with rustic wedding barn, cow sheds, self-catering cottages and events field all overlooking the landmark Wrekin. At Morrells Wood Farm we are also able to offer DIY festival weddings with just the major components taken care of leaving you free to mix and match your catering, entertainment and decorations.

Our day was perfect and I can’t think of anything that would have made it better
My husband and I got married here in May. The staff were very attentive and helpful in the run up to the wedding which had to be rearranged twice due to Covid. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and well kept as is the interior of the hotel. We married in the Woodland area which surpassed our expectations and was such an intimate and special service in gorgeous surroundings. We had our wedding breakfast in the Tepees. They were decorated so lovely and I was invited to inspect it before the guests went in but it was perfect. The food was delicious and many of the guests commented on this. The staff there were so helpful and the service was spot on. My husband and I stayed overnight and were served breakfast in our room, again the food was very good. Our day was perfect and I can’t think of anything that would have made it better. Thank you to all of the friendly and helpful staff there. Highly recommend.

They really did make my dream wedding come true
After months of changes, multiple postponements and uncertainty, we finally got to say 'I do' at the Wroxeter on 19th June. Throughout the process of booking, making and changing plans, staff were fantastic: friendly, helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. I can't thank them enough for how helpful and, more importantly, how kind they were, throughout the whole planning stage. The wedding itself was outside in the woodland area, with the reception in the tipis and all our guests commented on how beautiful it was. It lent itself perfectly to the relaxed feel we wanted for our wedding and it demonstrated how well the team had listened when I had talked about the kind of day I wanted. They really did make my dream wedding come true. The food was gorgeous and well presented and serving staff were polite and friendly at all times. They were especially helpful when none of our guests followed the seating plans and our veggie and vegan guests were not where they were meant to be! Nothing was too much trouble. We had a bespoke package due to changes brought about by Covid and it was worth every penny and definitely good value for money. Prices at the bar were reasonable (always important to keep your guests happy!) and room prices are also good value. The location itself is stunning. The Wrekin in the background and the delicate pops of colour from the wildflowers that lined the path to the alter, made our pictures really stunning. I am so grateful to all the Team for their hard work and care. We will definitely be visiting again in the future!

Perfect venue even in a pandemic
Our day was perfect and intimate. Restricted to 15 people however the venue made it absolutely perfect. They updated us at every point they could and made our day so special. We’re so excited to have our party and wedding breakfast in October. The venue is beautiful and if not more so than we remembered.
