Description

The Westgate Suites is a unique, exclusive use wedding venue located in Long Eaton which is on the border of Derby and Nottingham. Our former Victorian building has been tastefully restored and features pieces that hint at its former use as a textile mill. Large feature windows and high ceilings help to create a light and spacious backdrop to your wedding reception. As day turns to night and you begin to welcome your evening guests, the space transforms into the perfect party venue with a classic chequerboard dance floor and stage area for your band or DJ. Our events co-ordinator will be on hand from your first, no-obligation tour right up to the moment you leave as a married couple. Our aim is to make your wedding enjoyable, stress free and exactly as you imagined it.

Happy couple married in April

Disability discrimination

Don’t book an event here! It is against the law not to have disability access. A week before our wedding we could not access upstairs. They assured us there would be access! We were then left with 100 guests trying to find a venue local as hotels were booked etc. We are currently awaiting a response from the company and legal action will be taken.

Lovely venue amazing staff.

We had our day at the end of May 23. Sophie the coordinator was brilliant. So much knowledge and understood our vision from the off. She was super flexible with our requests and nothing was too much trouble on the lead up to the day. To the day itself Sophie and her team had everything covered. The food and service was incredible. The day ran so smoothly and Sophie was great and ensuring we were ontime if not early for the majority. Would highly recommend anyone to look at this venue who is looking for somewhere a little different but amazing quality and value.

What can we say! The Westgate Suites far exceeded any expectations we ever had. Considering my 18 years in hospitality, the service you and your team provided was exceptional. We cannot fault the venue, food, staff and all of the tiny bits in between. We cannot thank you enough for your thorough attention to detail. We had absolutely loads of compliments from all our guests regards the food, decor and general ambiance of the place. I believe you will be seeing a lot of our guests here again in the future.
