We are delighted to be able to share a part of our historic but still functioning textile factory. Only available for a very limited number of industrial/barn style weddings each year. It is a truly unique venue, with a number of handcrafted unique items included in the hire cost which compliment the style and character of the venue. Like everyone else looking for something a bit different you will love it. It’s minutes from Dundee City centre, therefore within easy reach of accommodation!

The Weaving Shed
As soon as we walked into The Weaving Shed we knew this is where we would be married! We love a bit of DIY and knew we would want to make all the decor and dress the place ourselves, although the venue itself is so full of character it really doesn’t need much.
Hamish was so easy to work with and nothing was too much trouble for him, and the rest of the staff who were there on our day were all brilliant.
Our guests absolutely loved the place, it was such a convenient location for our mostly Dundee based guests and so many of them couldn’t believe they hadn’t heard of The Weaving Shed before! Don’t think it will be a hidden gem for much longer.
Thank you so much Hamish and all the team for making our day absolutely perfect for us.

We have catered a few weddings at The Weaving Shed and we absolutely love the open style of the venue.
Plenty of areas to set up a variety of serving options like buffets as well as large bespoke tables for table service.
Hamish and his team are a delight to work with and very accommodating.

Wow!
We had our wedding at The Weaving Shed and Hamish and his team couldn’t be more helpful if they tried. This was the first venue myself and my wife went to view and we instantly fell in love with it all the exposed wooden beams and exposed brickwork were absolutely stunning and we didn’t really need more decorations as we believe the venue really speaks for itself. We were able to bring outside catering in and set up a kitchen in one of the back rooms the bar is very reasonably priced too! Thank

Our wedding was perfect!
This was the only wedding venue my husband and I looked at, and as soon as we walked into the space we knew it was where we were going to get married! The space is incredible! There is so much space to work with and you are able to put your own spin on it. Hamish went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect. We can’t recommend The Weaving Shed and Hamish enough. It is a really special venue.

The most incredible and unique venue!
We had the best experience at The Weaving Shed for our wedding last year. A truely special space and a hidden gem! Hamish and his team made sure we had the most perfect day! If you’re looking for something different, where you can put your own spin on things, then this is definitely the place for you. The huge space allows you to style it as you like! We had food vans and a photo booth and it worked so well in the space! A whole year has passed since our special day and I have people now still telling me how anazing the day was!

We felt our wedding was in safe hands
Our wedding here in December 2021 was amazing – the venue is simply enormous and is a blank canvas to decorate how you choose, however there are fairy lights and gorgeous wooden tables and benches available as a starting point. The exposed brickwork and beams mean you can get a rustic or barn feel, but with a city centre location that makes it ideal for transport and accommodation. The team couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming. From the start we felt our wedding was in safe hands and that our day was special. We received so many compliments on the day and could not have been happier with our choice – would definitely recommend!
