This venue really is whatever you make it, with 5 areas all flowing into one another, we manage to capture a variety of different atmospheres. Begin your reception in our spacious main venue, With large windows looking out to the River Avon. As the night goes on, venture into our cosy bar and catch up with old friends. Celebration of life

I booked the Fisherman’s Haunt for my late dad’s celebration of life/wake and can only say that the team were absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Lizzie in particular was so supportive, friendly and organised - she made sure things ran so smoothly on the day and helped give dad the send off he deserved. Great food options and the dishes chosen went down a treat (they have a great chef). Everyone commented how lovely it was and made the day as good as it could be, given the circumstances

We would like to say a big thank you to Lizzie and the team for hosting our wedding reception. The venue and food were excellent and enjoyed by all. We had a great day. My Auntie and Uncle stayed the night before the wedding and said the room was very comfortable and clean. The food was excellent - the best steak my Uncle had ever had. We stayed for our wedding night and agree that the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Fantastic all round. Thank you.'

45 years after coming to the Fishermen’s Haunt on our first date my wife and I decided to return for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. It turned out to be a good choice. Our room was beautifully furnished, the pub was as excellent. Fabulous breakfast. A specially shout out to the staff - friendly, attentive and went the extra mile. Wedding weekend celebration

'We stayed at The Fisherman’s Haunt for our wedding weekend, and the team looked after us so well throughout. The rooms were perfect for our wedding party. We had a big meal for 22 the night before the big day and the food plus service was perfect. Everything we needed was catered for. Thank you!'

From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly like old friends and check in was very simple. We were taken to our room which although was only a standard double felt very luxurious. The room was large and the bed was probably the most comfortable we’ve ever stayed in. There was also a nice modern bathroom with excellent shower. We had dinner which was absolutely superb, I can recommend the pie and mash. Delicious! After a very comfortable night we then had breakfast which was cooked faults
