We had the most amazing wedding day and everything was how we dreamt it would be. The staff were amazing and communicated every part of the day, every ask was done without any issues. Our guests commented how amazing the venue was and the day! We loved every moment & can’t thank the staff at the compasses enough for our magical day xx

From the moment we met Jono at the Compasses, our minds were set. We didn’t bother looking at any other venues. We knew they would deliver and boy did they! It was the best wedding I had ever been to (always good when it’s your own!) and I think many of our guests would say the same. The communication from the team throughout and on the day was first class. A very personal approach. The food was superb (and plentiful) and the venue itself really worked on the day. Thanks Jono, Charlaine, Della and team.

We got married at The Compasses in September and it was simply perfect! I surprised myself how calm I was on the big day as all the stress had been taken away! The planning and set up was spot on and the compasses accommodated our choice of musician which just topped it all off! I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending The Compasses and if we ever renewed our vows it would 100% be here!

Had the most amazing day at the Compasses Pattiswick, and it shows in our beautiful photos. The overall experience and care from the team at the Compasses made our day very special. From the planning, to our food choices, drinks and the venue itself was superb. Nothing was too much trouble and this showed on the day as the team stayed with us to make sure everyone was welcomed, the day went ahead with no issues and our guests have said what an amazing day and venue. You won’t beat The Compasses as a wedding venue! The staff are just incredible, from planning the day with us to looking after us on the day, they were amazing! All the recommended suppliers were incredible and everyone said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to!

Jono helped us imagine our dream wedding from the very first second we stepped foot inside for a viewing. He took the time to ask us what WE wanted, not just offer us generic packages that ‘should’ work for us. Nothing we suggested or asked for was too much trouble! Charlaine took over the planning of our day and helped us move it all from a dream to reality, keeping us updated the whole time and answering any questions we had very quickly so that no extra stress was added onto us at all! Della was then in charge of making sure everything ran perfectly on our special day, including setting everything up perfectly and exactly as we had imagined it all. We were able to just float along in our little wedding bubble all day without having to worry about a thing, knowing that Della had it all under control. Every single person at The Compasses has been so so helpful and it is such a welcoming, family friendly environment there, with our two young children being made to feel comfortable and special there from before they even walked in. We had lots of children at our wedding too, ranging from tiny babies to pre-teens, and all were made to feel as welcome as anyone else. The family friendly atmosphere there was commented on by many of our guests and everyone at The Compasses at Pattiswick had a hand in making our day as magical as possible, it really was amazing.

The Compasses were the first venue that we visited. We spoke to a few others after but non came close to the feeling of warmth and care about our wedding that we got from The Compasses team. They supported us every step of the way to make sure that our day went exactly as we wanted. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We had the most incredible day at the Compasses. The venue suited us to a T, perfect size for our 100 guests, stunning scenery, easy to get to, plenty of accomodation nearby and stunning, really fitting our style. Hearing from friends and family about their own wedding experiences, we were blown away by the efficiency, transparency of the venue, helpfulness, competency of all the staff and how friendly and attentive they were. Everything was seamless I couldn't recommend Compasses enough.

Our wedding day went exactly as planned, we had amazing staff who are very friendly and were really easy to speak to! I was so nervous on the day and just arriving at the venue and having our lovely wedding co-ordinator Della, she made me feel at ease and was fantastic. She helped us run the day so smoothly I had so many comments saying how relaxed we looked and how stress free we were and thats all down to everyone at the compasses. I cannot put into words how perfect the compasses is, we had a private family only wedding, and it was the best day of my life, theres no other venue I’d have rather had, this was my dream venue, and every part of that day I had envisioned came true. Thank you compasses for our amazing experience , we will never forget it.

From the moment we stepped into The Compasses we knew it was our venue. Our November wedding was the most perfect day, Jono, Charlaine and Della made our dream day into a reality, we knew exactly what we wanted and the wonderful team made it happen right down to the tiniest detail, nothing was too much trouble. The whole day was relaxed, fun and filled with love and laughter from start to finish, the perfect start to our married life.
