The Amazing Wedding Company at York Maze Full Description
York Maze is a fantastic rural venue, perfect for the less formal wedding or reception.
We are located in the open countryside on the way to Elvington, on the south side of York. Although we are in the countryside, we are only 7 miles from the city centre.
You will have a dedicated Wedding Coordinator throughout and you can decorate as you wish. You can do as much or as little as you want.
So many places do not give you the freedom to create your own special day.
We offer a range of barns, connected to a south facing wooden terrace. The wedding breakfast barns has removable sides and the ceremony barn has a stage at one end, ideal for bands or DJs and a smaller stage at the other for the ceremony.
We charge £7000 (2022/2023 prices) and £8000 (2024 prices) for a 3 day exclusive hire (8am Friday – 3pm Sunday). Then there would be the catering cost on top of this.

Fantastic Day
Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending one of The Amazing Wedding Companies weddings at York Maze! From start to finish, the team worked tirelessly to ensure that every tiny detail was taken care off, ensuring one incredible day! From the hosting, the food, the staff and the venue itself, it really did make our friends wedding one to remember!!

Amazing Day
I can't begin to explain how AMAZING these guys are... I know there's loads of people behind the scenes but Vikki and Jason made our day so enjoyable and stress free. From our first meeting 18 months ago I was constantly in contact and they always had time for me and were happy to help me however they could. We got married 16th June here and it was the most perfect day EVER. Anything and everything we wanted they made sure it happened. Nothing was too much trouble. It was so relaxed... So much fun... Exactly how we wanted it... I can't recommend them and this place enough. The food is out of this world and everything is so well presented and looked fab. It's such a beautiful venue and we enjoyed decorating it exactly how we wanted it. Not many places give you this freedom. All our guests have said it was the best day ever and we all just wanna do it again. Defo be re-booking in 10 years or so to renew our vows!!

Couldn’t have asked for a better day
We had our wedding here in April this year and couldn’t have asked for a better day! The whole day was so relaxed! Vikki, Jason and the whole team were amazing!!The food was incredible(& plentiful)Jason helped us decide what we wanted and did a wonderful job, and Vikki kept the whole day moving on seamlessly! If either of us thought we needed something she appeared as if by magic! The venue is beautiful and caters to everybody. Every guest commented on how brilliant they thought the day was and that is all we could hope for! If your looking for somewhere that isn’t your typical hotel wedding you need to see this place!!

The most incredible day!!!
We genuinely couldn’t have asked for more! From the very start they were super helpful! The food choices were plenty and everyone on the day commented not only on the amount but how amazing it was!! The day before while we setting up we had a meeting to go through how the day was going to go and on the day as if by magic if you needed Vikki the wedding planner she was there before you even turned to look for her and was then gone again!
It was most definitely 5 star service and would recommend to anybody that’s looking for a rustic , beautiful venue and wanting to move away from your typical hotel wedding!
