Luke was the wedding coordinator for the day itself, he couldn't do enough, from the smallest details to managing all the guests, he always kept myself and my partner's comfort and enjoyment as the top priority. The venue itself is stunning, the mix of rustic and modern was spot-on for the ceremony, breakfast, and reception, and the Crook Barn and Tankersley Suite were just the right size for the number of guests we wanted. Food was sublime, and the in-house DJ kept the dance floor busy all night long. - SStacey & Elliott07/07/2026We loved our wedding!We loved our wedding!Myself and my new husband recently got married at Tankersley Manor Hotel. 16/05/26 We began planning our wedding around 18 months ago and from the very first moment we met Jess and the rest of the Tankersley team we knew our wedding would be amazing, but we were absolutely blown away on the day, our whole wedding weekend infact. Jess was absolutely wonderful to work with over the last 18 months and nothing at all was too much! Our countless emails and calls were always answered quickly and professionally and left us feeling like nothing was too much. During the week of our wedding and our wedding weekend we were also looked after by Luke, our wedding manger. From our first chat with Luke it was like all the stress left us and we knew we were in safe hands. I felt very apprehensive before our wedding and a bit like a fish out of water, however Luke and Jess made sure we had nothing to worry about and I handed all creative control for my vision over to the team. From the moment myself and my bridesmaids began getting ready to the minute myself and my husband left the evening reception I couldn’t have asked for more. Staff ran between myself and my husband and make sure we both had everything we could possibly want and need all day. All our guests also had the most incredible day and couldn’t stop commenting on how lovely all the staff were, how delicious the food was and how beautiful the building itself was. I can’t praise the wedding coordinator team enough, Jess has been helpful through the whole planning process. She is there for you any time if you need anything and answers the many many emails you send her! On the day we had Luke, couldn’t fault him at all! He was fantastic, constantly checking up on us if we needed anything, was not pressuring us regarding timings and he was lovely, we both felt very relaxed with him by our sides. We enjoyed the day so much and it all went so smoothly. We came to Tankersley manor a couple of years ago for a wedding showcase, it was the first venue we went to and we did not need to look at anymore after. We knew it was perfect for us! The food is delicious, they are so flexible with catering for people who require other dietary options. Also, the venue itself is stunning and everybody who came loved every detail of it. We could not of asked for a better day. Thank you to the coordinators, chefs, waiters, bar staff, etc cause you were all fantastic. No matter how many questions we asked or how much of a pain we could have been it was never an issue. Our day wouldn’t have been so special if it wasn’t for Jess. From our first meeting you made Whitney feel so comfortable and for us meant everything. We knew we could trust you from the start and so so glad we did. Luke you was the best. Helping everything throughout our day. You kept me and Whitney calm throughout the day and whatever we needed it was done without hesitation. Again just simply the best the day wouldn’t have ran smoothly as it did without you. The staff were absolutely amazing on the day nothing went to fault. Ourselves and our guests felt a warm, uplifting and accommodating presence all day. We couldn’t thank Jess enough for helping us organise our wedding since 2024 any question we asked she always had an answer for us and went above and beyond for us. Hollie was our Wedding Coordinator on the day she was absolutely fantastic we both felt like all weight was taken off our shoulders and she didn’t disappoint when we say she made sure our day ran smoothly and was perfect. We definitely recommend this venue to anyone that wants to get married. Food and drinks were amazing, reasonably priced venue they accommodate for all! Beautiful backdrops for photos, the food was excellent and the coordination was really spot on. Our original venue actually cancelled on us six months prior so the fact that Tankerlsey were able to swoop in and pull everything together for us was spectacular. Jess is so on it as a wedding coordinator and with any questions or concerns we had she immediately put us at ease. On the day our event coordinator was Hollie and she made everything go like clockwork. Cannot recommend enough if you're planning on getting married in South Yorkshire!We had our wedding here and could not have asked for a better venue. We managed to take full advantage of everything Tankersley Manor has to offer: a lovely dinner with my parents the night before (the Tankersley chips are next level 🤤), a relaxing spa experience, some last-minute sunbathing on the outdoor loungers, and then hosting the best day of mine and my now husband's life. A huge shout out to Jess, who was such an incredible help throughout the entire wedding process. She helped keep me calm and reassured me whenever things started to feel overwhelming, reminding me that I wasn't turning into a bridezilla! She also came up with the brilliant idea of providing ice lollies to keep our guests cool during such a hot weekend. On the morning of the wedding, she worked alongside Luke, our day-of coordinator, to make sure everything ran smoothly. She made me feel confident in my dress and even helped my mum with some last-minute touches. Jess, you are amazing at what you do, and Tankersley are lucky to have you. Moving on to our day-of coordinator, Luke — I'm so glad he survived our wedding weekend! Nothing can stop this guy from making sure a couple has the best wedding day possible. Unbeknown to me, Luke had injured his hand and had an accident the weekend of the wedding, but you would never have known. We never saw him without a smile on his face. The day before the wedding, Luke made sure I was doing okay and helped keep me stress-free, especially by organising storage for all of my very large DIY wedding bits and pieces and reassuring me that I could contact him if I needed anything at all. On the day itself, he explained how everything would run to both me and my husband perfectly and somehow managed to keep my crazy family organised — which is a miracle in itself! It was obvious to everyone that he genuinely loves weddings and helping couples have their perfect day. Lastly, I want to mention Ash, the night manager, who had to handle a rather rowdy group of men when there were technical issues trying to get the football on. You stayed so calm and handled the situation perfectly, getting the game on with just five minutes to spare. A huge well done and thank you! Tankersley Manor, our day was perfect thanks to all of your staff. The venue was beautiful, and all of the little extras you provide make anyone's stay unforgettable.
