Set within stunning grounds, this fairy-tale gothic ‘castle’ provides a totally unique and magical setting for your wedding ceremony and reception. ​ An oasis of calm and tranquility, close to the river in Twickenham, the venue has the benefit of extensive grounds and Grade II* listed gardens whilst being close to transport links and with easy access to London and the surrounding areas. For those looking to marry at the House, we have a licence for civil ceremonies and partnerships for up to 85 guests in the grand Gallery, a spacious and naturally lit room with vaulted ceilings, golden canopies and crimson damask. The rest of the unique rooms and expansive lawns offer ample opportunities to capture photographs and moments to remember. Following your ceremony, enjoy drinks on the lawn, and a wedding breakfast or reception in the Waldegrave Suite of rooms: the stunning light and airy Drawing Room, the Senior Common Room with its glittering chandeliers and mirrors (perfect for evening dancing), and the Billiard room. These rooms have a capacity of 120 for dining and 200 for an evening reception. Choose one of our talented catering partners to help you tailor a menu for your special day, from delicious canapes to a three course wedding breakfast. For evening receptions, choose a more relaxed option such as a pizza oven, BBQ, bagel/donut wall or patisserie cabinet. Please note: As Strawberry Hill House is a Grade I listed property and the building is very fragile, we only make the property available for weddings on six Saturdays a year, from April through to October.
