St Giles House, Wimborne

We had the most incredible wedding weekend at St Giles House in October 2024. Lottie and the SGH team made our experience seamless from start to finish and the venue itself is just phenomenal. We wanted a classic British wedding followed by a party in a nightclub and St Giles offered exactly that. We want to come back and do it all over again!! Huge thank you to the SGH for giving us the best weekend of our lives.

As we all know, I’m a fan of the whole princess vibe, and I have never felt like more of a queen than swanning around the grounds here. Quite apart from the stunning decor, beautiful gardens and wonderful warmth, the team at St Giles House were absolutely incredible. A special thank you to Lottie for her dedication and professionalism. You truly made our day unforgettable! We are forever grateful for the memories created in this magical place. It couldn't have been a more perfect venue for a Christmas wedding!! We love how every room in the house is so unique and has its own character, including the accommodation. Then there is the club which is just epic, especially as no one expects it!! We're already wanting to go back for another party. The Riding House and Grooms Cottages are also a wonderful addition. We had a big diner on the Friday before the wedding in the Riding House and it was a lovely way to kick off the weekend with family and close friends.

We just hosted our wedding at St Giles on 18/07/24. We cannot recommend this venue enough. We were blown away the minute we looked at this venue a year ago, and each visit since then only made us fall more in love with it. Our guests were mesmerised and there is not a single thing we can complain about or would want to change. The staff are incredible and we found them to be extremely accommodating and helpful - I asked a lot of questions throughout the wedding planning process and Lottie & Charlotte were absolute experts in this field and had answers/solutions for us every time. You can tell the staff there love St Giles and are really passionate about it, which isn’t surprising because everything about it is exquisite. Hands down the best decision we ever made to have our wedding there, we didn’t want to leave and neither did our guests!

Wow, I don't even know where to start! My husband and I got married at St Giles House a few weeks ago and it was the absolute best day of our lives. The venue is unbelievable, the staff are incredibly friendly/helpful/professional (shoutout to Charlotte!), and the nightclub is on another level. Highly, highly recommend

We recently had our wedding at St Giles House and could not have picked a better place to have it. The house and grounds are stunning and many guests (and myself and my wife agreed) that it was the best venue they had ever been to! Having the combination of the beautiful grounds, grand house, on site accommodation and surprise club makes St Giles House really one of a kind. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Lottie who helped us plan the wedding was incredible - both very helpful throughout the process and immensely professional. Thanks a lot for everything!

We cannot thank you guys enough for making our special day so wonderful, something we will cherish and remember for the rest of our days to come. Everything was exactly as we had imagined it. I don't think I will ever forget the moment I saw the ceremony room, it was so magical. I still get a chill when I think about it. Thank you for making me feel at ease throughout the day as well, I think maybe I was a bit too relaxed for a bride! We had so many compliments about how breathtaking the venue is from guests, as well as how friendly and kind the staff are. It was heartwarming to hear that. Kitty, Lottie, and Olivia - you guys held my hands through the journey for months and months running up to the wedding, I know I couldn't have asked for a better team.

We can’t quite put into words yet how we feel after the weekend. The word perfect doesn’t even come close. Everything was seamless and we could not be more grateful to you for everything you did in the lead up to and on our wedding day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I’m sure you hear a lot from your couples that it was the best day of their lives but oh my goodness it was - we can’t stop crying!

We had the best day of our lives at St Giles House. It was the best day of our lives because of the beauty and facilities of the venue as well as the dedicated and lovely team that work there. It is such a unique venue, with luxury accommodation to put your nearest and dearest in for the 2 nights either side of the wedding, and a fantastic basement nightclub and bar to enjoy the evening in. The library is a beautiful, romantic room for the wedding breakfast that gets even better in the evening when it's lit by candlelight. Highly recommend having 2 long banquet tables instead of many round tables so you're in amongst your guests plus the room is perfect for it. Lottie and Charlotte were a dream to work with - nothing was too much trouble and they were friendly, helpful and professional at all times. This isn't the kind of venue that gives you a package price and then if you want to use their cake stand, knife, candelabras, candle jars etc it's an extra cost - if they have it, you can use it. It's hard to describe the 'magic' of the place but it's definitely there - so many people commented on how stunning the venue is and everyone enjoyed themselves. We're so glad we chose this place! One other rather lovely thing is that they have a signature scent from True Grace - we got a candle in the Open Day goodie bag last year and actually bought a few more candles from the venue at our final planning meeting so that we can enjoy the scent (and the memories that it brings) at home. St Giles is on the pricier side of the venues in Dorset but it's worth it and it's hard not to fall in love with the place if you go to their open day and meet the team, which we'd also recommend. Stunning venue and fab team who listen to your ideas and requests - what's not to love?

Words can't even describe just how incredible the weekend was. It was truly the most amazing weekend of our lives. We spent every single moment on the honeymoon talking through minute-by-minute of the weeding weekend haha. St Giles House is just so beautiful and we are desperately hoping we know friends or family that will get married there so we can't attend as a guest. What makes it so special is having access from the Friday morning, right through to Sunday midday. It felt like it was our home for the weekend and was so nice to wake up after the wedding, have breakfast and not feel like we were being rushed away. We have had so much feedback from our guests that have all said it was the best wedding they have ever been to and everyone was blown away by the surprise nightclub. We absolutely love St Giles House and it will always have a special place in our hearts.
