With its central London location, riverside setting and distinctive cultural history, this is an ideal location for your wedding or civil partnership. Located on Level 6 of the Royal Festival Hall, our St Paul's and Weston Roof Pavilions are suitable for both ceremonies and receptions and our couples have the option of hosting the whole day in the one venue. These glass sided rooms provide a picture-perfect backdrop for your vows, with stunning views over iconic London or the City. Following your vows, your guests can celebrate with you while taking in a view of either the Houses of Parliament, London Eye and Big Ben, or The Shard and City of London. For slightly larger ceremonies and receptions, we also have our outstanding Level 5 Function Room - a bright and airy space with floor-to-ceiling windows, offering standing room for up to 300 guests. "The venue is stunning"
We are delighted to have chosen to have our wedding reception at the Royal Festival Hall (Weston Roof Pavilion). The venue is stunning, with amazing views over the Thames, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye - it is one of the best experiences for both London locals as well as guests from overseas – everyone was mesmerised with the view. The room itself is fabulous with different spaces including a large balcony area and a terrace area – all visible from the room itself as the walls are predominantly glass. The RFH’s Events Manager, Kris was wonderful, he gave us great attention, support, and help with the planning and preparations. We had a lot of questions, and even when we didn’t know what to ask, Kris used his experience to make sure we had thought about all details. He re-assured us and helped us plan the logistics in order for the day to run smoothly. Kris liaised directly with our caterers, photographer, florist and DJ. The day went extremely smoothly; we were able to completely disconnect and trust that in Kris’ hands all would flow, and it did. We would highly recommend the RFH as a wedding reception location.

"A great view in an iconic building"
We were delighted with our experience from start to finish. Our Events Officer could not have been more helpful and made the whole process trouble-free - in the planning and on the day itself. The location is wonderful, a great view in an iconic building and great transport links for guests. We had a fantastic evening.

Just a quick note when we can to thank you so much for Saturday. We had the most amazing day and we know it couldn't happen without you. Thank you so much. We can't believe your energy and commitment to it running so smoothly. I hugged everyone at some point. You deserved the biggest one! Thank you again.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

We worked with a bride who was a theatre producer - she had met her fiancé at Southbank Centre and, as someone used to working on set designs, she wanted to completely transform the space, giving it a rustic, countryside feel. This culminated in the Weston Roof Pavilion being, for one day only, carpeted in real grass!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

A table plan made of Scrabble tiles, with more tiles scattered over the banqueting table - quirky and fun!

Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.

Stylish. Artistic. Diverse. Welcoming. Timeless.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

The Level 5 balcony, overlooking the Thames - it’s a real hidden gem, and the views are second to none.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

A little-known fact about the Royal Festival Hall is that it’s intended to resemble a mid-century ocean liner, hence the spacious foyers and winding staircases. That’s pretty unique!
