The doorway of the 16th century Turret House is a unique setting for an outdoor ceremony with up to 100 guests. Inside provides intimate ceremonies for 25 of your closest friends and family. The grounds offer stunning photograph opportunities, from the sweep of the wildflower aisle to the lavender labyrinth, apothecary garden, romantic ruins and the Turret House itself. Our Pictorial Meadows are the star of our outdoor spaces and from spring to late summer our site is a riot of floral colour.
Our barn extends from a Georgian farmhouse into an enclosed garden. Featuring original stonework and exposed wooden beams dotted with fairy lights, the barn provides a sense of rustic charm and is complete with its own distinctive bottle bar. Ceremonies for up to 60 guests can be hosted at Manor Oaks House with a wedding breakfast for up to 80 people (or 100 people with a Turret House or offsite ceremony) and 120 guests for your reception. At Manor Oaks House our flower filled garden and garden games give you and your guests space to spread out and relax before the dancing commences and the campfire is lit.
We offer a DIY experience where you can have all the fun of personalising your wedding while we deal with the boring bits. You should love planning the exciting moments, but not be worrying about crockery and cutlery. We provide these along with tables, chairs, rustic table dressings, and glassware, leaving you to concentrate on the fun aspects. Our venue is ready to use, but you can choose to add flowers, venue styling, seating plans or any other personal touches.
Delicious food is an essential and the Rhubarb Shed provide this in abundance. From buffets, to BBQs or sit-down meals, and with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, they provide a wedding breakfast for all tastes and budgets. If you've always wanted a pizza oven or hog roast you can choose to use an external caterer for your evening reception.
We'd love to hear your ideas for your perfect wedding.
