Full Description
The doorway of the 16th century Turret House is a unique setting for an outdoor ceremony with up to 100 guests. The grounds offer stunning photograph opportunities, from the sweep of the flower filled aisle to the lavender labyrinth, apothecary garden, romantic ruins and the Turret House itself. Our Pictorial Meadows are the star of our outdoor spaces and from spring to late summer our site is a riot of floral colour reaching their height in June, July and August. Our barn extends from a Georgian farmhouse into an enclosed garden. Featuring original stonework and exposed wooden beams dotted with fairy lights, the barn provides a sense of rustic charm and is complete with its own distinctive bottle bar. Ceremonies for up to 60 guests can be hosted at Manor Oaks House with a wedding breakfast for up to 80 people and 120 guests for your reception. At Manor Oaks House our flower filled garden and garden games give you and your guests space to spread out and relax before the dancing commences and the campfire is lit. We offer a DIY experience where you can have all the fun of personalising your wedding while we deal with the boring bits. You should love planning the exciting moments, but not be worrying about crockery and cutlery. We provide these along with tables, chairs, rustic table dressings, and glassware, leaving you to concentrate on the fun aspects. Our venue is ready to use, but you can choose to add flowers, venue styling, seating plans or any other personal touches. Delicious food is an essential and the Rhubarb Shed provide this in abundance. From buffets, to BBQs or sit-down meals, and with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, they provide a wedding breakfast for all tastes and budgets. If you've always wanted a pizza oven or hog roast you can choose to use an external caterer for your evening reception. We'd love to hear your ideas for your perfect wedding.

Perfect day for a wedding celebration
My husband and I got married in a very small ceremony in April 2022 and we were looking for a venue that could accommodate a more relaxed celebration while still inkeeping with out wedding style. Sheffield Manor Lodge was perfect for us. We were able to make sure that our wedding day was one that would make us happy. We had a wood fired pizza oven on site which the guests loved, and the outdoor space was perfect for the hot sunny day. I wouldn't change anything about our day. The venue coordinators, Ben and Georgia, were both so helpful and accommodating and the team that helped us on the day ensured that everything ran smoothly. I couldn't recommend Sheffield Manor Lodge enough to prospective brides.

Our wedding day
We had out day on 14th May 2022 and it was absolutely magical! We loved every second of it. The ceremony was held down at the Turret House and then up to Manor Oaks for our wedding breakfast and party. Food was delicious and served by the Rhubarb Shed. The day really couldn't have gone any better! Thank you to all staff involved! From Mr and Mrs Taylor x

The perfect day
From start to end the team at Sheffield Manor Lodge were faultless. The venue its self is utterly stunning and is a hidden gem. In all honestly some of our older guests were concerned and confused when we described how we would be getting married outside of an old building however we have received nothing but the best compliments about the venue since. We decided to style the venue ourself but because of its beautiful features there wasnt alot we had to do toomake it perfect for our day. We liaised closly with Ben who couldnt have worked any harder to make our day as perfect as it was . I would highky recommend Sheffield Manor Lodge and would like to say a huge thankyou !

Best day of our lives - genuinely!
We had such a great day in the stunning setting of Manor Lodge. The staff there were amazing (particular shout out to Ben who kept us on track and supported through the endlessly confusing Covid guidance) and we simply couldn't have wished for a better experience. The actual venue is beautiful with amazing views over Sheffield and the surrounding wildflower meadows. Although the venue is kind of DIY, it's one less stress that the bar is provided, fables and chairs are there and an arch to decorate.

Thank you very much, we had an absolutely brilliant day and so much of that was down to you and your team, so thank you ever so much! We can't wait to visit again as the whole estate is just so beautiful and is now linked to perfect memories.

Best day ever!
We had an amazing day at Sheffield manor lodge, it was everything we hoped for. The staff (in particular Emily) were so helpful and thoughtful and couldn’t do enough to help us plan (and replan) our wedding in the current climate. Even in the pandemic we had the most amazing, beautiful day we could have ever imagined. If you want a low key, casual, absolutely STUNNING wedding venue look no further. Thank you a million times 🙌🏼
