Quantock Lakes

The most beautiful day of our lives was made possible by so many suppliers but mostly Quantock Lakes. In 2019 we viewed 3 wedding venues in 1 day, not only was this ambitious but 2 were perfectly matching what we thought we wanted - a big manor/stately home. Quantock Lakes was last on the itinerary and an hour's drive from home in a different county. We met Laura and viewed as the sun was setting and were blown away on our drive home, knowing already nothing would compare to what we had just seen. Quantock Lakes was not what we thought we wanted and turned out to be everything and more. I cannot recommend to anyone enough to go and view this beautiful place and feel it for yourself. The venue offers so much flexibility to make the day completely yours. Nothing was too much to ask, nothing seemed impossible and everyone involved on the planning team really enabled us to have our day the way we wanted it no matter what. We never experienced any pressures or time constraints from the venue, honestly planning and hosting our wedding here really was the easiest and most relaxing thing ever - unheard of right!? The most outstanding part of Quantock Lakes for us was the onsite accommodation for 60+ of our guests. We were able to have all of our guests stay with us for 2 nights which meant the wedding day wasn’t full of hellos, it was instead an amazing extension of time spent with our friends and family. The Quantock Barns, Granary and Farmhouse are all out of this world and our guests were blown away with their little 2 night getaway with us which made everything so much easier & relaxing for our guests and enabled us to throw a welcome party the night before which was such a special part of our few days there. Every team member has been absolutely amazing throughout our wedding planning and we cannot thank you all enough. Incredible venue and incredible team, you all made our dreams come true, put us first and made everything feel so seamless and effortless. Thank you 💗

Well, what can I say other than Quantock Lakes is AMAZING. We first came to look back in May 2019 and after a covid postponement, finally got our day this weekend. They have been amazing and accommodating throughout which really was appreciated by us. The venue was just as beautiful as we remembered and our day was beyond perfect. The wedding team are incredible. Sarah was there throughout the planning and helped guide us through and bring our plans to life. We had Nadine and Lizzie to help set up and they were with us during our wedding day and they were incredible. We were guided through the day and every part of the day was totally seamless. The venue is gorgeous and perfectly set up for an all-day wedding event. The food was out of this world (we are quite fussy!) and my gluten intolerant friend said it was the best GF pizza she has ever had! The team couldn’t do enough for us and every member of staff we encountered was brilliant. The wedding village is lovely and it was amazing to have our close friends and family around us for the whole weekend. We are so so pleased we came to see the venue and chose it for our special day. We absolutely fell in love with Quantock Lakes as soon as we arrived at our viewing appointment with Laura who was absolutely amazing. We just knew straight away that this was where we were going to get married. We didn’t even have to discuss it! Planning a wedding during the pandemic also highlighted how lucky we were to be having our wedding at Quantock Lakes. Naomi and Sarah were incredible and so patient, nothing was too much to ask and they were so flexible with postponements etc. I can’t imagine how much pressure the venue must have been under but not once did we ever pick up on this and everything felt under control. The wedding eve at the farmhouse and the wedding village was perfect. There was everything you could possibly need and everybody who stayed couldn’t believe how incredible it was. It is a lovely touch to be able to celebrate with close friends and family the day before. We had the most amazing wedding day which is all thanks to Naomi and Sarah who were always on hand to make sure everything ran smoothly. The attention to detail Quantock Lakes put into absolutely everything did not go un noticed. Where do I begin!? From when we first looked around Quantock Lakes to the day after our wedding day the staff at Quantock lakes have been accommodating, professional, helpful and so lovely! They work so hard to make you feel special. ALL of our guests have complimented on how beautiful and amazing the venue (the actual wedding venue and the accommodation) is and complimented on how wonderful and professional all the staff were. The food was fantastic and the service was very quick, also a good selection of drinks! The 'snug' was ideal for some of the guests to go and sit down in a more quiet setting if needed. Every need was catered for and we had no stress at all on our wedding day as it was all sorted for us. Thank you everyone at Quantock lakes for such an amazing day that we will never forget - and what a way to end the year!

You all did an incredible job this year! You have all been so helpful through this difficult time and we loved having our wedding with you on the 27th November 2021! If only we could do it all over again! I would recommend this venue to anyone! All of the staff were very helpful and the venue is stunning! Quantock Lakes has so much accommodation which is very well presented! You would be stupid not to choose such a wonderful venue! X

Our initial viewing of the venue with the lovely Laura really sold it for us, she was so thorough and didn’t rush us at all. She showed us around the whole venue, grounds and the stunning accommodation and talked us through all of the options. Booking was made so easy with her assistance, and she had the answers to all of our questions! The amazing Naomi ran our wedding day, she was such a lovely person to have around on the day! She was so relaxed but super-efficient and organised. She covered all bases and made sure we were both enjoying ourselves & that we always had a drink and got to eat too! She really went above and beyond on the day to ensure us and all of the guests were happy and everything was running to plan. She knew exactly what needed to happen and when, and gave us plenty of notice to make sure everything/ everyone was on time! A lovely person inside and out!
