After deciding to plan a wedding with not a lot of notice, Philip was absolutely amazing every step of the way. Nothing was too much hassle for him and he made us feel at ease throughout. The wedding day could not have went better, with such a beautiful intimate venue. The food was amazing, with compliments from many guests and the staff could not have been more attentive. We would definitely recommend the pot belly for anyone looking a smaller, more personal wedding experience.

If you are looking for somewhere that hosts smaller more intimate weddings then this is the place to have it. From the day we meet Phillip and looked around the pot belly we fell in love it was just perfect the restaurant with the wooden beams, the outside area with the picnic benches and the decor was beautiful. Phillip was amazing throughout he knew exactly what we wanted and we felt so at ease. Our wedding day was even better than we imagined, it was completely stress free everything was perfect. The food was amazing all of out guests said it was the nicest food they ever had at a wedding, the staff were also amazing they done a great job. We did not want the day to end and wish we could do it all again. Do not hesitate yo contact Phillip you won't be disappointed.

Philip & his team were amazing, from the very first day of enquiry to the last guest who left on our wedding day. Nothing was a problem, Philip knew what we needed before we even did. The team set up the room exactly how I imagined. It was beautiful and perfect. Food was fabulous, with no issues and all dietary needs were perfect. I would not change a thing from our amazing day. The Pot Belly and team excelled themselves and made the day easy, relaxing and completely stress free. We will always be thankful for everything they did for us and made our day so special.

After our original date for our wedding was postponed last year due to Covid my husband and I contacted Philip at The Pot Belly to book our wedding reception. Yes our original wedding date was planned for Portugal but our wedding day at The Pot Belly was everything we had imagined & more!! In our eyes we had the most perfect day & so did our guests! The majority of our guests said the staff, service & setting was everything. They would highly recommend The Pot Belly for a wedding over a hotel any day & we couldn’t agree more! So a huge thank you to Philip & all of the staff for giving us the most perfect day, it was certainly worth the wait ❤️

Had a small wedding as we wanted our closest friends to share our special day…. We picked the pot belly as we already knew their food was amazing and we love the quirky barn like look. Could not have asked for more from booking to our day.. All our guests said it the best wedding ever… Philip and Brian are amazing and really looked after our guests which was very important to us.

We would highly recommend the Pot Belly as a wedding venue. From our first meeting with Philip until the last minute of our day he and his amazing team did everything they possibly could to make it special. Nothing was ever any trouble. The setting, room decor, food and service were all second to none. Philip went above and beyond in every aspect he even collected the wedding cake for us .

Where to start? We got married here in August 29th 2019 and it was by far the best day of our lives, not just because we got married but because the day ran just as we imagined. Philip and his team were professional, slick & attentive. From day 1 of planning nothing was impossible, we were listened too and all our needs were met. The food was incredible, the venue rustic, romantic & spotlessly clean with added touches of elegance brought just for us. The service was second to none.

So with 10 weeks to pull off a wedding i had been putting off for 10 years i arrived at the Pot Belly hoping to be saved from the lifeless council building. Philip was so helpful and went over and above to make sure our day was special. We got married and had our reception here in the upstairs restaurant area. The decorations, set up and food was all done to perfection. We could not recommend this establishment enough to anyone looking a warm, friendly, personal wedding. Stay away from the large hotel chains who churn out the same weddings day in day out and book here!
