From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully arranged, creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere for everyone there. The setting itself was charming and peaceful, perfectly capturing that idyllic countryside feel. The food was truly outstanding, beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and clearly crafted with care. What stood out most was how well the menu catered to all of our guests, ensuring everyone felt included and well looked after. It’s not always easy to please a diverse group, but they managed it effortlessly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish, made even more special by the attentive service and attention to detail throughout the day. I cannot recommend the venue enough for anyone looking to host an intimate wedding in a picturesque countryside setting, it really exceeded all expectations. The room where the ceremony took place is decorated and set out beautifully. Our table for the meal had a wonderful view across the countryside and the meal itself was magnificent. The three courses were served by their very friendly and attentive team who were not intrusive but were on hand whenever we needed them. The whole day was completely without any stress and was so relaxing - a lot of this is down to how welcoming and helpful the team are. We came here in January to discuss the possibility of having our ceremony here, and after another wonderful meal, and speaking to the team it was such an easy decision to choose the venue. Throughout the whole process Justin and his team have been very helpful and understanding right from the start. The food was amazing and all of our guests commented on how good it was. Justin and Brendon were incredible hosts and the service the team provided to us was exceptional. We honestly could not have asked for more. We take such happy memories of the day and look forward to going back to celebrate with them!!We could not have had a more perfect venue for our wedding. The process of organising was so easy, with support where we needed it but never pushy. It was important to us that we had a 'proper' wedding despite a small guest list and the Pig & Whistle was perfect for that. We cannot thank Justin and the team enough for making our day a dream come true. From start to finish our day was perfect. We were so well looked after, the venue is stunning throughout and as one guest put it 'it felt like we were the only people in the world'. From start to end the day was amazing, Justin and his team were on hand whenever needed and couldn't have done more for us but at the same time never seemed to hover and left us to enjoy the day with our guests, a real fine balancing act that they executed perfectly. The restaurant was decorated beautifully and the table and settings without fault, we hired out 2 rooms for the afternoon on their lunch ceremony package and were aware that other restaurant guests would be in the building after the ceremony but the setup was so perfect that we felt like we were the only ones in the world. The food is their crowning achievement, every course had by us and our guests was so well presented and delicious it was hard to not book to go back for dinner the next night. All served with perfect timing. Drinks, wine choice and cocktails were some of the best we ve had and Justin had knowledge of everything that was being served. The ceremony room is beautiful, decorated tastefully and elegant. A real unique space to get married. Our day was perfect, we just wish we could do it all over again.Outstanding.
