Pig & Whistle Restaurant is a 16th century English public house, lovingly transformed into an award winning romantic restaurant and licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies. Our traditional venue is intimate and cosy, a home away from home, and the ideal location to celebrate the union of two loved ones with close family and friends. We’re the ideal choice for a small ceremony and a sit down meal for up to 30 people.

5 stars simply aren't enough!
The Pig & Whistle team absolutely blew us away. Led by Justin, the team catered to every detail to perfection. The food was simply outstanding (and it's almost easy to take this for granted since we've been to the P&W on a number of occasions and experienced nothing but the best!). The service was 5 star, not just on the day but in the lead up - super helpful, very detailed and really accommodating. The team went above and beyond to make our day special. Nothing but the best things to say about our experience. Thank you to the P&W team.

Much for the best day ever. Guest have not stopped talking about the venue. The atmosphere, all your staff, and most importantly the amazing food.
There is not one thing we would change. It was perfect in every way. Justin and Breandan could not do enough for us or our guests.
I want to do it all again.
From the moment we arrived I knew we were in good hands. We were guided through the whole thing, from ceremony, confetti, speeches, amazing views and sunset. Words are beyond me. Fantastic xxxx

An amazing day!
We honestly had the most amazing day getting married at the Pig & Whistle! Everything went perfectly, and Justin, Brendan and the team did everything to make the day special. Not only is the venue beautiful, but it was perfectly intimate for sharing our special day with our closest family and friends. The food was absolutely incredible, and all of our guests have said it was the best meal they had ever had at a wedding.

As we live above the restaurant we were lucky enough to organise and run my brothers wedding and to treat them and their guests to great food and our customer service.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Set aside some time to sit back from your guests and soak up the day, and make a mental note of how you feel.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Its always lovely to see the multitude of ways that couples ask their guests to leave messages. One couple asked each guest to sign a brick of a Jenga game.
