Old Oak Farm

Old oak farm where do I begin! This venue is beyond stunning! I have been watching old oak for a long time and couldn’t wait to see the venue. When we arrived the venue was still in building mode but we could see the potential from then and knew that was the perfect place for us to get married. The whole process has been easy, great communication and lots of support. We had a few meetings and each time the owners were lovely, really friendly and helpful, we spoke about what sort of things we wanted and Rebecca really helped us with ideas and offered us her props and decorations, we went through all the food options and running of the day, there were some many things to choose from which was lovely as I left feeling more together and organised. The day of the wedding the venue was just perfect, the set up was everything we had wanted and more. When I arrived the owners and staff were all there ready and willing to help. After the ceremony the staff were there being attentive giving out drinks and our canapés. We went off for photos but when we came back we had sliders presented to us which was a nice touch as I know sometimes the bride and groom can get forgotten whilst they aren’t there and there’s nothing left when they get back. Though out the day the staff were amazing always there to help but at the same time they were very discreet which again is another great attitude. We had a buffet style meal which was absolutely beautiful, as our meal was served Rebecca came with a separate plate for me (I hadn’t noted down my food preferences when I had done the other guests but Rebecca had picked up on it during our pre wedding conversations, which was a really lovely touch with a attention to detail). This happened again in the evening, we had homemade pizzas which my husband couldn’t have, the staff checked in with him asking if he wanted his separate order, he wasn’t ready so they checked in shortly after making sure he wasn’t forgotten and no one else got his dish. The venue was kept clean and tidy all day but again without us even knowing, the day ran like clockwork and Rebecca and her staff checked in making sure we were happy or needed anything though out the day. We had so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was, how attentive the staff were, how clean the venue was especially the toilets which everyone loved. As for the food everyone was so impressed, the vegetarians said it was nice that they received their food first because they often feel like an afterthought or forgotten. Everyone said it was the nicest wedding food they had ever had with lots of choice and variety and that there plenty of it. It was the same for the evening meal the fresh cooked pizzas cooked outside went down a treat. The night of the wedding we stayed at the venue, again there was so much attention to detail in the room, lovely robes and mr and Mrs cups, bubbly, biscuits and strawberries then croissants for breakfast and the quaint Little lodge was tucked out of the way and just beautiful. The following morning the staff and cleaned up and packed all our stuff up making it really easy for us to pack up. We had such an amazing day, it was everything we wanted and more and that’s all thanks to old oak farm and their amazing staff, we can not thank you enough for being so attentive and amazing, we wouldn’t have wanted to have our wedding anyway else it was just perfect, you should be very proud of what you have created and the work you do. Old oak is absolutely stunning with its pure attention to detail it really is beautiful. The communication, support and flexibility has been spot on. On the day we were well looked after, the staff were brilliant, there but discreet, very friendly and approachable, great customer care. The venue was beautiful, so clean and tidy all day, the toilet received lots of compliments about how nice they were as well as always clean. The whole process has been a breeze, I really enjoyed planning our wedding with old oak farm, I really lovely, unforgettable experience.

Absolutely perfect venue! Beautiful throughout yet has a friendly comfortable feel about it. Nothing is too much trouble for the team here. They have a list of reputable suppliers they use to provide everything to make events special.

I cannot recommend Rebecca and Old Oak Farm enough! First off, Rebecca is a fantastic coordinator. She is friendly, organised, attentive and responsive. She's so full of great ideas that just add that extra something special to your day. The venue itself is just beautiful. The barn is warm, welcoming and inviting. It is perfect if you are going for a rustic vibe, and looked absolutely incredible once it was all dressed up for our wedding. However even without the decorations that we brought in it still would have looked fantastic and made for some stunning photographs. The big windows let loads of natural light in during the day, and make the whole place feel very airy and social. The dancefloor area is great, and looks stunning with its twinkly lights, and the big, long bar is perfect, especially if you have lots of guests. Outside, the Stable Bar, secret garden and beautifully manicured lawn make for gorgeous photo opportunities. There is plenty of parking for your guests, and a couple really cute, cosy shepherd huts for guests to stay in. On the day, the bar/waiting/kitchen staff were all fantastic and kept the day flowing smoothly, all with a smile on their faces! The food was absolutely delicious as well. Old Oak Farm really is a slice of Somerset countryside heaven, and I couldn't have dreamt up a more perfect venue for our wedding reception. It was the 3rd venue we looked at, and after leaving we cancelled our viewings with other venues because we knew it was the one for us! We had the most magical wedding day at Old Oak Farm. Guests were saying what a beautiful venue it was, and how great everything was. We are so glad that we booked here, and we would not hesitate to recommend the venue to other couples!

We had the most amazing day at our daughter's wedding on 28 October 2023. Family members have food allergies and the staff went above and beyond to create a bespoke dessert for my nephew so that he was able to have a diary free option! The staff were friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough to help out! The hosts are so thoughtful and listen to the needs and dreams of the bride and groom to ensure the whole day is tailored to their every need creating the perfect dream wedding!! Thank you so so much we had the best day!!! Xxxxx

From our first meeting at the venue we fell in love with the setting. The attention to detail and the beauty of what they have created is incredible. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Rebecca and Andy help make my my vision come to life and inspired me with different ideas. Everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was I can't recommend old oak farm enough.

Local Venue that blew our minds. From the decor to the food to the staff! My day was made all the better for having it organised so amazingly by Bex the owner and Andys the owners small designs for example an infinity champagne cabinet to the handmade bar and even to the skittle alley outside, as we were part of our local skittle team. The little touches went a million miles and Bex didn't miss a beat

Words can't really describe how amazing Old Oak Farm, Rebecca & Andy are. They made our day absolutely perfect. The venue is so beautifully made, so much gorgeous attention to detail that is breath-taking. Every single guest commented on how much they loved it. The outdoor space is excellent too. Getting married by the Old Oak tree was amazing. We had cricket going on during the reception & after dinner without worrying about it breaking anything/one, and the secret garden is so cute. Rebecca is so excellent, it amazed me every time at just how organised & helpful she is. Like any couple we had so many questions, ideas & requests but nothing was too much for her and she did everything she could to give us our ideal, perfect day. The food was divine, we curated our dream menu which was really unique compared to other venues we'd looked at, and Maxine is an excellent chef. The bar staff were also super friendly. I can't really say enough how perfect the day was. Thank you so much for making it so wonderful Rebecca & Andy. We love you!

Rebecca and Andy made our day absolutely perfect. From start to finish I had a smile on my face. I can suffer with anxiety quite bad and I had a lot of fear for the aisle and vows but Rebecca made me feel so comfortable I didn't give it a second thought. The venue is absolutely insane! The food from canapé to mains right to evening were all amazing. I wish I could do it all over again. The amount of compliments we got from our guests were crazy. Everyone had the best time.
