What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Listen to your coordinator who can guide you through the entire planning process through their experience. There is always someone on the team who can offer sound advice whatever the issue is and turn it into another ticked box off your very well appointed planning list.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
There are so many but my favourite has to be one of our lovely couples is a carpenter, so instead of cutting the wedding cake with the traditional knife, he opted for a hacksaw wrapped in white silk ribbon and bow. It was a fabulous day and created a very special talking point for them (and some amazing photos to never forget also)
Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.
Unique, friendly, relaxed, personal, perfect
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The rear paddock on the pond leading to the field of newly born ponies. A fantastic spot with a farm wooden fence and over hanging tree line to help create the most romantic of images for your wedding day
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We have, but as you would expect, discretion is our watchword.
What’s your favourite canapé?
The ever so popular mini bangers & mash (they go like hot cakes)
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Wedding cake of course
What is your venue's most unique feature?
We are still a fully working family run farm as well as a wedding venue so lambing season gives an amazing opportunity to have some bleeting, playing, jumping bundles of fluff in the fields set against the backdrop of our incredible views.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
I am most proud of our commitment and dedication to our couples. We build a relationship with them that lasts, sees them returning to us for family occasions and to introduce their newborns to us. Its a beautiful passage of life that we are priveliged to be a party to.
