Whether you’re planning an intimate summer ceremony or a grand winter celebration, Mansion House Llansteffan adapts to your unique style. You’ll have exclusive use of the entire property, so your wedding feels completely personal and private. Plus, a dedicated in-house wedding coordinator will guide you through every detail, ensuring your day runs smoothly from start to finish.
Beautiful Ceremony and Reception Spaces
Say your vows in the bright and airy Orangery, which comfortably seats up to 135 guests. If you prefer a more traditional setting, The Moryd—a Victorian drawing room with original parquet floors and elegant bay windows—can host up to 80 guests. From May to September, you can also choose an outdoor ceremony for up to 120 guests, surrounded by the venue’s stunning gardens.
For your wedding breakfast and evening reception, the Orangery offers space for up to 136 diners and 220 guests respectively. The beautiful grounds, overlooking the Towy Estuary, provide a picture-perfect setting for your wedding photos.
Exceptional Catering and Comfortable Accommodation
- Catering: Enjoy bespoke menus crafted by the in-house catering team, known for their fantastic food and attention to detail. The Moryd restaurant holds two AA rosettes and focuses on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. A menu tasting is included to make sure your wedding breakfast is just right.
- Accommodation: Mansion House Llansteffan offers nine individually styled guest rooms, including a complimentary bridal suite for your wedding night. Your guests can benefit from preferential rates on the eight other luxurious bedrooms. Two ground-floor rooms are also available for guests with limited mobility.

Hi! I'm Wendy, co-owner of Mansion House Llansteffan. I'm here for all of our couples, from your initial private viewing appointment, through to waving you off into your married life together.

The team worked really hard all day to ensure that everything ran smoothly for the bride and groom, and all the guests were well looked after. They also very kindly set up a table in the bar for my wife and myself to have some lunch, and I can tell you the food was very good indeed. The grounds are superb, with stunning views across the Towy Estuary. This is one of the best venues I have been to for a wedding in any capacity. Full stop.I was the photographer at a wedding here yesterday. The team worked really hard all day to ensure that everything ran smoothly for the bride and groom, and all the guests were well looked after. They also very kindly set up a table in the bar for my wife and myself to have some lunch, and I can tell you the food was very good indeed. The outside is beautiful but being December it was a bit too chilly to sit out but the bride and groom managed wedding photos outside with the beautiful views. The inside of the Mansion house is also lovely! Decorated in the hallway with a large Christmas tree, children’s toys supplied for the little ones, the wedding breakfast room is bright and airy with pretty lights in the glass ceiling and trees with lights behind the top table. The food was delicious...couldn’t have asked for better. So just a big thank you from the sister of the bride for helping to make their day so special 💕💕💕My sister had her wedding here last week and what a beautiful venue it is! We had very late evening of fun, laughter , great food and excellent bar service. The following day we were served a beautiful breakfast, and we had morning tea in the grounds overlooking the bay. Our son travelled from Australia with his Australian girlfriend and surprised her by proposing at Llansteffan castle. On returning back to Mansion house tell everyone, Wendy was the first to offer champagne to congratulate them. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
I couldn't pick just one, that would be too difficult, I loved the one where the bride & groom's 'coming away' song was Morecambe & Wise's 'Bring Me Sunshine', or the one where the first dance was on the lawn under the fireworks, or the one where the bride threw her bouquet to a line out! Or even the one with the Bucking Bronco! I think the point is, I love it when people make it their own with simple gestures that are personal to them.

A good quality note pad & pen & don't sweat the small stuff!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
If I had to choose one it would be when one of our groom's sang his wife-to-be in, very moving.
