Full Description
2023 CALENDAR NOW FULLY BOOKED All yours -- a large and beautiful Grade II* medieval manor house and party barn set in 5 acres of garden with a lake and astounding views. Take over this stunning historic house for 4 days and 4 nights with up to 16 of your family and friends as you prepare for your wedding reception. Enjoy full access to the expansive gardens, and set up and decorate the vaulted party barn and its surroundings exactly as you wish. The barn can seat up to 120 for dining, or 200 standing. Large glass double doors open out on both sides, leading to more than enough garden space for an extra marquee if you want to seat more than 120. Add outdoor seating, catering or cocktail tents, games and attractions, food vans, hog roasts -- make the day your own. Decorate the barn with flowers and lighting in the style you want, choose what kind of catering you'd like, what shape tables and what style of decoration. Have your portrait shots taken by the medieval carp pond, outside the 17th-century porch or under the arbour. Provide your own drinks or buy in. Style the barn's inner room as a dance floor or bar. We can suggest recommended providers for all your needs. To fully enjoy your stay in the house, maybe ask a chef to come in the night before to lay on a feast for you and your guests in the Great Hall. Call in your hair and make-up stylists on the morning of your wedding day, choose the rooms you'd like best to get dressed and ready in. House the rest of your guests in local B&Bs or cottages on the doorstep. We offer a 4-night package for the house, barn and gardens, which gives you time to enjoy the preparations and build-up to a fantastic day, and allows the option of an extra celebration the day after your wedding. You're welcome to add an extra night or more either side of your 4-day weekend if you'd like -- some people stay for a week. Your guests will be amazed at the beauty of the location as they arrive at a place they've never seen before.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
Kingston is a beautiful home and is seeped in history. The architecture and woodwork is beautiful. Every window has a beautiful outlook. We all felt that we could spend days there without going anywhere. Everything we needed was provided and Juliet and Andor were fantastic hosts. Having the barn for the kids to run around in was fantastic and they spent hours playing croquet in the sunshine. A moonlit hot tub was also magical. We would highly recommend staying at Kingston. Do look up the history of the Manor.

A real gem with lovely grounds
Fantastic place to stay, loads of space and tons of character. The manor is a real gem with lovely grounds to explore, all the facilities were as described and the rooms well maintained and spotless. Was an honour to be able to stay in such a historical location.

Thank you again for all your help and flexibility - it really was the most perfect day and the venue absolutely made it. We have had so many compliments about Kingston - I hope many more people can have their wedding there! It is the best venue I have ever seen and that is the feedback we are getting regularly!

The house and grounds blew everyone away...
WOW factor ! A huge and quirky property that we felt immensely privileged to share with the owner. The fact that the owner lives there most of the time isn't something we've dealt with before in rental properties, but we soon relaxed as the generosity and scope of all the stuff that was available for us to use dawned on us. The house and grounds blew everyone away when they arrived, many open mouths and childlike delight at exploring the seemingly endless corridors, leading to room after room. The furnishings are tasteful and plentiful; diverse too mixing antiques with some very modern paintings. We partied hard, relaxed in the hot tub, had the occasional game of snooker, socialised in many comfortable settings and the dogs loved the freedom, offered by the huge secure courtyard. The walks around there are second to none, the views are stunning and the weather was kind to us. We all loved it, we're trying to think of an excuse to go back, and I would recommend it highly.
