- MMr & Mrs Brown07/05/2026Our Special DayOur Special DayAll the staff at Highfield Hall were kind, organised and helpful from the moment we booked a venue tour through to the last moments of our wedding day. Our wedding coordinator Flo was fabulous! She truly helped make our day special and made sure the day ran smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble and she made sure we had our favourite drink ready so we could raise a toast as a newly married couple. Our guests enjoyed the wedding day with many commenting on the delicious food and how good the DJ was (who was included in the wedding package!). Can't thank the Highfield team enough for making our wedding day so special.All the staff at Highfield Hall were kind, organised and helpful from the moment we booked a venue tour through to the last moments of our wedding day. From preparation to the day itself, everything was exactly as we had hoped for. Flo was absolutely amazing as our coordinator, and put us both at ease throughout the process. All the staff were brilliant. This place is unbelievable. It was nice to find somewhere nobody really had heard of and this place is a hidden gem. If you book you wont regret it. I especially want to say thank you to Ellie and Flo and all the team from the start when we came to view the venue, booking and coordinating you all made it go so smoothly due to only having eight weeks to plan everything due to my mum unfortunately dying of cancer and we didn't know how long she had. Unfortunately on the morning of the wedding my Mum passed away and the venue were very accommodating they even said to delay it and we can change it for no extra cost but we went ahead as my Mum saw the venue and burst out crying we knew it was the one and she was definitely with us that day and we celebrated her. Flo made the wedding flow smoothly we were on time everything was just amazing from getting ready, to getting married to the canapes, pictures, food, dancing everything was just wonderful and we are so glad we got married here. The venue is amazing. From booking to the day we couldn’t recommend them more. When looking to book we were shown round and told the prices and what the venue has to offer. Once booked we had contact from the venue often and if we had any questions they were more than happy to answer. On wedding day the team in highfeild were amazing. Hands on and happy to help. Kept us informed on what time we needed to be places and make sure that we were looked after and happy. Thought the day they checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The next day we had a fall breakfast which was delicious and felt that the venue couldn’t do more to help us. But what really stood out was the incredible service from Will. Late at night, when no taxis would pick us up and we were about to walk back to our hotel, he insisted on driving us himself. I’ve never experienced service like that—he truly went above and beyond. Will is a credit to Highfield Hall and an all-round amazing person. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
We do love a gender reveal! We had a wedding recently where not only did the couple have a gender reveal but no one knew they were pregnant! Not even the parents. It was lovely to witness this moment.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Remember it is your day and if there is something you want to make it more special for you, ask your venue for help. If they cant help you they will have contacts who can to make it easier for you to achieve
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One couple used Lego for their table plan and name places, and guests took their personalised piece home as a wedding favour! A great idea which was well received by all and made a great talking point and memory for all guests.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We have Moel Famau in the background exactly where the sun sets and have had some gorgeous photographs taken there
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We had a footballer as a witness at one wedding, but not following football I had no idea who he was until I was told the next day!
What’s your favourite canapé?
The favourite is mini toad in the hole with lots of Gravy, Yummy!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Pizza!! The ultimate midnight bite, perfect for a quick refuel before heading straight back to the dance floor.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our stunning garden pavilion for outside ceremonies
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The experience we create for our couples. Receiving consistent 5-star reviews is something we truly value, but even more important is knowing that every couple feels at home, cared for, and fully supported from their first visit right through to their wedding day.
