The price includes exclusive hire of the State Rooms from 14:00 - 23:00. This includes hire of the Wintergarden for your ceremony or drinks reception and your Wedding Breakfast in either the Great Hall or the State Dining Room. The maximum capacity in the State Dining room is 80 guests and the maximum capacity for the Great Hall is 110. Please note our maximum total guest numbers for your evening reception is 200

Having withstood two fires, Highcliffe Castle rises like a phoenix, majestically over looking the Isle of Wight & Christchurch Bay from its cliff-top location. Holding your wedding at Highcliffe Castle allows you to create your own unique story, which will be treasured for years to come.
The Castle is located on the outskirts of Highcliffe village. Nestling on the border of Dorset and Hampshire, Highcliffe is an award winning floral village, situated between beautiful beaches.

The most magical wedding venue
We had our wedding last week at Highcliffe Castle and we couldn't have chosen a better venue. Not only is it beautiful with a stunning castle looking over the beach with views off to the Isle of Wight, the weddings team are fantastic! Well organised, cannot do enough for you and leave you feeling reassured and as though you can relax and just enjoy your special day. We cannot recommend highly enough and choosing Highcliffe Castle to host our wedding was the best decision we made - our guests couldn't believe how beautiful it was! It's also owned and run by Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council and it's nice to know that the money paid is going back to the council.

Highcliffe Castle was my dream since I was a little girl, the castle and it's team did not disappoint!
From booking to the day, Aaliyah and her team were on hand to answer any questions. They ensured the day went so smoothly.
We had our dream day at the castle, the weather was beautiful, the set up was beautiful and everyone had a good time! The Wintergarden is the most bright and charming setting to marry in!

Such a lovely day
We were one of many couples due to get married when Covid and lockdowns hit. We had to change dates 5 times until finally tying the knot 3 years later than planned. The team at Highcliffe Castle were truly incredible and were supportive every time we had to make the heartbreaking decision to reschedule. We finally married in March 2023 and it was a magical day, the team were fantastic the whole time, even Lara the previous wedding co-ordinator attended the day- going above and beyond! I couldn’t recommend Highcliffe Castle more, not just for the absolutely stunning venue and grounds/facilities but for the absolutely fantastic team who can’t do enough for you. If I could do it all over again, I would!
