We had a small wedding in the Aisled Barn and it was an absolutely perfect night.
Most of the planning had to be done from the US, but the venue team was easy to get in touch with and answered all my emails in a timely manner.
We used two of their recommended suppliers (Vicki's Floral Designs and Copleys Catering) and were absolutely delighted with them as well. Everything went so smoothly, you'd think that all of them-- familiar vendors and new ones-- had been doing this every day for a century, and we had very little to do with it ourselves, trusting Sarah's and Jules's capable hands.
The barn is stunning and it was the perfect size for our party; we had a slightly nontraditional ceremony and reception, and Sarah made sure everything was set up as we needed it to be. My strategy in choosing a venue was to pick one that was already pretty on its own, so as not to have to worry about decorations, and it paid off. Honestly the barn on its own is already lovely, but the events team dressed it up so nicely, it was really just absolutely stunning.
Overall it was a very low-stress day, a beautiful ceremony, and I genuinely believe everyone who attended had a great time.
(As an added bonus, the venue also obviously functions as an art gallery, so you know that the money you pay is going to a good cause.)
(Also, the wedding date was actually 12/12/21 but the calendar function goes from Nov 2021 to Dec 2022 and is a required field lol)
