Full Description
The 16th century, traditionally timbered Aisled Barn is decorated with unique Moore tapestries, and is set amongst beautiful sculpture gardens, which provide the perfect backdrop for your special day. For more intimate celebrations, the venue also offers a fantastic contemporary space with panoramic views in the architect-designed visitor centre, Dane Tree House.
Venue hire includes exclusive use of the Aisled Barn or Dane Tree House spaces and shared use of the sculpture gardens and grounds with day visitors. Both spaces are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and can be transformed into magical and atmospheric settings for wedding breakfasts.
To really make the most of the grounds, dramatic marquees or tipis can make a stunning night-time statement and provide extra space for your guests to enjoy the surroundings.

Literally Perfect
Sarah and Jules couldn't have done more for us on the day to make sure it ran smoothly- they deeply cared and were so proactive on the day we didn't need to lift a finger. In the lead up they checked in at key points and they took care of all the loading in arrangements. The venue is stunning and all of their suggested suppliers are also excellent. Us and our guests had the best day- we think our parents now consider Sarah and Jules extended members of the family.

We truly had the best day of our lives at The Henry Moore!
The setting is so beautiful and the staff are so wonderful. Sarah and Jules couldn’t do enough to help us plan and make sure everything went smoothly on the day; nothing is too much trouble for them and they made it such a stress-free experience. Even when it came to making sure the best men had a projector for their speech!
We cannot recommend this venue enough, we could not have wished for a better wedding. Thank you to everyone at this venue for being so incredible!

Each wedding here is so individual and unique, it's a difficult one to call- they've all been amazing!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Remember to stop and take a moment to savour the day - it'll go by very quickly! Walk down that Aisle slowly and bask in that moment with all your friends and family & the love in the room.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of the grooms (being a graphic designer) drew every guests face onto the table plan. They were so good, even if we didn't know the guest's name we could work it out, the likeness was so brilliant. It became quite a game to match the guest with the picture!!!!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There are so many amazing spots for photographs on our grounds, but some of the most stunning are next to Henry Moore's iconic monumental sculptures, such as those taken at sunset in front of the Large Reclining Figure.
