We had our wedding here at the weekend and what an amazing place. From start to finish Leanne was absolutely fantastic and took the pressure off us, she couldn’t do enough for you, truly brilliant. The whole team that worked on Saturday were also just as fabulous, you all work so well together. You made our day so very special and everyone is still talking about what a beautiful day it was. We just had the best day and couldn’t of wished for a better venue including the amazing staff!! I literally had a wedding cake emergency the night before our wedding (we used an outside cake maker) and Leanne went to great lengths to ensure we had a cake for our day, in fact she had plans that evening but cancelled them putting us and our wedding first! From the beautiful view of the golf course, to putting us and our guests needs first! I have nothing but praise for this beautiful venue ❤️

We recently had our wedding reception at Golf World Stansted and we can't praise it enough. From the first time we saw the venue we knew it was perfect for us, the barn suite is beautiful with all the white drapes around and the lovely views over the golf course. It also caught our eye because it had an outdoor patio area and a balcony as well as the downstairs bar it was important for us to have different areas as we had a wide age range of guests attending. When we first met Leanne she was so calm and just listened to exactly what we wanted. And was so accommodating, I was extremely worried that all the golfers would be everywhere but she assured me that as soon as they see a wedding going on they stay out the way and that was so true I hardly noticed any of them. We went on to have many meetings with Leanne to make sure we were both on the same page and knew exactly what the day was going to entail, I also dread to think the amount of emails I sent to her and she always responded quickly to any of my queries. On the day it was truly amazing I arrived after all my guests and they had the red carpet out for me. And a glass of bubbly ready to hand me immediately. Leanne came and congratulated us and then she was so involved in handing out the canapés and making sure everything was running on time. We went off for photographs around the golf course and the setting was just amazing. We are currently waiting for the professional photographs to come back and we can't wait to see them. They had also just set up crazy golf which my guests loved wandering off and playing during the evening and we had lots of photos on there. Not only was Leanne our wedding planner and was so involved in the whole day she then had a quick change and became our evening entertainment along with her band. And they were amazing, all my guests are still talking about them. And I can't wait till I have another event so I can get them to play again! Since the wedding we have already been back twice for something to eat as the food is amazing. We can't recommend this venue highly enough as they truly gave us an amazing day and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. We hope to be regulars now!

Where do I start.... after having a massive cake emergency the day before my wedding, Leanne took it upon herself to save the day and arranged for the cake to be sorted for us, even though she had her own evening plans but spent over 5 hours doing everything in her power to get us a cake and by 8pm the same day we had a cake! Our wedding (yesterday) was absolutely faultless, Leanne and her team gave us a perfect day and we can’t thank them enough for tending to all our needs as well as our guests and we couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day! I have had nothing but amazing messages from our guests on how fantastic our day was at Elsenham Golf Club! I am happy to talk to any brides to be but I can assure you that you won’t get a better service! Once again, thank you Leanne and all your team for giving us a wedding to remember

We had our wedding reception here on the 24th June, we couldn't have asked for anything better! Leanne is extremely helpful and she did absolutely everything she could to make our day run as smoothly as possible. The venue itself is beautiful and has such a relaxed feeling. Prices are very reasonable especially compared to other local venues. I would recommend to anyone looking at getting married here or just for a relaxing drink or game of golf, everyone is very friendly and welcoming. We had the perfect day and wouldn't have changed one single thing. Thank you Leanne and family.

Amazing team in an amazing environment. I attended a wedding here and it was so well run. Being close to the bride, I know that there was so much freedom in the organisation of the day. Leanne and the team couldn't have been more accommodating. (Even down to providing golf lessons for the children while photographs were being take !) The food was delicious!!! I will certainly be back and would recommend to friends and family! X

Had an amazing time at my friends wedding, food was outstanding, staff so warm and welcoming nothing was to much trouble for them. The venue was beautiful can't wait to see the pics that were taken out on the greens. Would definitely recommend this golf club to anyone who is a planning a function.

We really do just want to thank you so much for all your effort you put in for our wedding. It was everything we could have asked for! All the time & hard work you put in really did show. Everyone commented on how hard you were working ensuring everything was going to plan. The DJ was excellent, he played all the songs we asked for & had such a good party variety it got everybody dancing. The room was decorated perfectly & the room changes went so smoothly! We know we were a total pain by going completely off menu for the food but you certainly didn't disappoint! Everything was so fresh & tasty! It really was just what we had hoped for. The cheese & pineapple hedgehog was another conversation starter, so many people commented on how good it was & I can’t thank you enough for making sure my barmy wish was fulfilled. The sweet table & chocolate fountains were a total hit too! The fact you took the time to home bake the brownies really was a lovely touch. All your staff worked their socks off to ensure us & our guests had the best day! You can really tell this is a family run business & that was what we were after, you just don't get that kind of service from a big corporate business. Over the many months we have been coming to you to plan our wedding we really always felt welcome at the golf club. We certainly won’t be strangers & will be back for dinner or if I get my way another party! We are just so grateful at how relaxed we have felt planning our wedding & how accommodating you have been has just been outstanding. We must also thank the owner for dropping a few of us home as our taxis didn't arrive! You don't get that kind of service in a lot of places. We just can’t thank you enough for everything, we had the most fantastic day & it really was everything we had dreamed of. If we could do it all again tomorrow we would. I have pleasure in recommending you for any events, you pulled out all the stops for us and it didn't go unnoticed by us or our guests. I have probably missed out so much! But it truly was amazing! We also have photos of you guys in the photo booth! i shall find & attach to another email! Thank you so much! You have just been the best in so many ways!

Had a brilliant time here at my son's wedding yesterday. The staff were fantastic and worked really hard to ensure everyone had a really good time. Great venue for a wedding.
