Escot is the privately-owned home of the Kennaway family, who have lived here since 1794. You will receive the warmest of welcomes from Sir John-Michael and Lady Kennaway. As a setting for weddings, Escot offers a perfect combination of light-filled rooms, gardens and terrace. Enjoy stunning views over the parkland with its lake, lawns, and wonderful 'champion' trees - Escot offers the perfect backdrop for your wedding photography. Our catering is in-house and boasts an excellent reputation; we use locally sourced produce and trusted local suppliers and cater for all dietary requirements. As we are a private venue, we can react with total flexibility to our couple’s specific wishes and we offer outstanding value for all bookings, large or small. Your booking includes the services of our wedding organiser who will help you to ensure you have the day you have dreamed of. After more than 20 years as a wedding venue, we understand how important it is to provide a supportive environment which allows you to relax and enjoy your day with absolute confidence. We can help you with as much or as little as you like. Escot is licensed for Civil Ceremonies, so you can say your vows in one of our elegant and spacious day rooms. Your wedding reception can be as formal or as informal as you want it to be. We offer three options: a formal wedding breakfast with a full waiter service, a seated wedding buffet, or a standing buffet with waiters circulating with canapes with some seating still provided. We want your guests to enjoy their day and will help you organise entertainment for children and adults alike. We have many onsite activities such as Segway, archery and clay shoots if you want a reception with a difference!
