Wonderful ceremony room, spacious outdoor terrace and a beautifully elegant function suite will make your day more than memorable from start to finish. Our stables bar is the perfect area for you and your guests to mingle during your drinks receptions. Our stunning honeymoon suite is perfect for relaxing after a great day of celebrating.
Gilmour Suite - Our sensational suite plays host to your meal and evening reception and can also accommodate larger ceremonies.
Earls Hall - An intimate ceremony room which can comfortably accommodate up to 85 guests.
The Terrace - Our Terrace is an outdoor seated area, looking out to gorgeous scenery and perfect for those summer drinks receptions and photo opportunities.

A relaxing day
My husband and I were married in March 2022. We had the most beautiful and very relaxed wedding day at the Eglinton Arms. We were able to have our drinks reception outside, this was suggested by Carolyn and set up last minute for us. A feature of the day that our guests regularly comment on. From start to finish our guests and the bridal party we’re well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. I can’t thank the team enough for making our day run smoothly.

stress free!
We had our wedding at the Eglinton Arms in 2022 and we wouldn't change a thing! The venue is beautiful, the food is great and it's in a beautiful location for wedding photos with the orry and old village in the background. We planned our wedding in only three months but the staff were all so friendly and helpful that we found it all pretty easy and stress free! I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is thinking of getting married, a real hidden gem of a wedding venue!

Scottish wedding with a touch of laidback elegance
From the moment we walked through the door at The Eglinton Arms Hotel, we instantly knew that this was the place we wanted to get married. From start to finish was so smooth and slick, professional yet personal. My husband and I had a wedding day that was absolutely 'us' to a tee. Every one of our guests commented on how amazing the staff were, how fabulous the food was and how stunning it is. We wanted a Scottish wedding with a touch of laid back elegance, and that is what we got.

A dream come true
Myself and my husband got married in the eglinton arms hotel in June 2022 and we both had the most amazing day. All the staff at the hotel where amazing everyone was so attentive and made sure everything ran like clock work on the day nothing was a hassle. It is such a pretty venue and from the minute I went to view it I fell in love with it and my day was everything I dreamed it would be and more and I can’t thank the staff at the Eglinton arms enough.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
I am being a bit biased here, but my big brother married my best friend at The Eglinton Arms. Their day was filled with so much joy and love. It was a very special moment for me. When they were looking for a venue I asked them what the brief was and The Eglinton Arms really ticked every box, intimate, cosy, historic, not too far for their guests to travel, beautiful scenery and incredible food!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Pick what makes you both happy! This will make your day unique and so special for your guests.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
I love when people use polaroid guest books, they are so much fun for guests and at the end you have an incredible book that captures the fun of your special day.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The beautiful Orry parklands and the Kissing Bridge are an absolute must!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We have not- but Lewis Capaldi lives in the village!
What’s your favourite canapé?
The Irn Bru cocktail sausages are a huge hit with our guests.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Sea Salt and Chardonnay Wine Vinegar crisps, if you like salt and vinegar you need these in your life!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our Venue is almost 200 years old, so it has a lot of beautiful traditional features.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The Team! A lot of our team members are local to the village of Eaglesham and have been with us since the age of 16. We have grown together like a family, and it really shows.
