Cantley House Hotel & Barn

We booked our wedding with 2 months notice and our coordinator, Laura, made all the planning feel so stress free. The venue is lovely, not super fancy but to me felt really cosy and comfortable and the rates are extremely reasonable for the quality of food drink and service you get in the planning and on the day. Would recommend to any couples! Especially budget conscious couples, from shopping around, some of the bundles are great and you would never have guessed by the quality and loveliness of the venue.

We had the most amazing wedding day at Cantley House. The staff really do go above and beyond to ensure your day is amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them. Our wedding planner Emma was great and so helpful making sure everything was sorted and in place she made all the planning so easy and was always on hand to help with any questions we had. Dianne looked after us on the day and she truly is fantastic she went above and beyond for us we really couldn’t have asked for anymore. We had a three course wedding breakfast which all of our guest said was amazing, I would highly recommend Cantley House for a fabulous wedding venue.

My wife and I chose Cantley House Hotel as our wedding venue and we had an absolutely incredible time. From where we started over 2 years ago to the wedding reception, Emma and her team have been flawless in executing a perfect day and we couldn't have done this without them. Everyone complimented the food and the DJ had people dancing all night. We highly recommend Cantley if you're looking for a day you'll never forget.

We had our wedding at Cantley House on Sunday 20th October and it was absolutely magical. The staff go above and beyond, nothing is too much. The whole day for us was absolutely faultless. Our wedding coordinator Sarah had injured herself in the morning but went above and beyond to ensure I didn’t actually find out until I met my registrars . From the beginning Sarah answered all questions and her attention to detail was second to none. The hotel is stunning and all my guests commented on our delicious hot and fresh food. We had Matt for the evening and he ensured we were well taken care of. The venue was warm and inviting. Bar service was quick . Not a single complaint from us or our guests . The decor is gorgeous, the grounds are lush and well kept. I honestly could not fault the service at the Cantley house and I highly recommend them !!

We had the most wonderful wedding day at Cantley! We were so lucky with the weather, I think we had the last best day of summer , we had been planning to get married outside and so delighted that we were able to. The events staff (especially Sarah) were all brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and the planning meetings leading up the Wedding were so helpful to refine plans. It was a perfect choice for us!

A special mention to Lara and Diane who were brilliant in organising the day and ensured everything ran smoothly, we would absolutely recommend Cantley as a wedding venue and the Barn was stunning!

We recently had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at Cantley House in Wokingham, and we cannot express enough how perfect the day was from start to finish. Everything went incredibly smoothly, and the team was very accommodating with every request we had. From the very first contact through to food tastings and final preparations, every step of the way was expertly handled; we felt we were in very safe hands throughout. One of the highlights for us was being able to book out all of the rooms for a complete venue hire, which really made it feel like we could take over the venue and make it our own for the day. The food in particular was delicious, and our guests were singing the praises of the venue not only on the day but also ever since then. Many told us it was one of the nicest and most fun weddings they had ever been to, and we owe a huge part of that to the wonderful team at Cantley House. A special thank you goes to Emma, our wedding coordinator, who was a huge help in the lead-up to the day. She ensured that everything was meticulously organised, right down to the full function sheet, which covered every detail (including aspects we hadn’t even thought of!). Thanks to Emma’s careful attention and guidance, we felt fully supported every step of the way. We had our wedding day at Cantley House and it was fantastic . We were kept up to date with what was going on and where and when . Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Emma (the wedding co ordinator ) was brilliant and we can highly recommend her!

We had an amazing wedding day at Cantley House in July. Everything on the day and beforehand went perfectly to plan, and we wouldn't have had anything any other way. Cantley house was the perfect venue for a wedding of 50, feeling both intimate, but large enough for this amount of guests. The food on the day including the canapes, wedding breakfast and pizza in the evening was delicious. All the staff were professional and really added to the day. The only minor comments we had were that there were a few add ons that should maybe come as standard, even if that increased the price slightly. For example the fairy lights in the barn really add to decoration, but have to be hired from the DJ, why not have this included? Another example would be that red seats come as standard for the ceremony, with white ones needing to be hired at an extra cost.
