Where grandeur feels at home. Crayke Manor is a Jacobean Manor House, built in 1620 and considered to be one of the most beautiful homes in North Yorkshire. Sitting in its own 17 x meadowy acres, you'll have an amazing sense of privacy and privilege when staying here. The estate includes a Dutch covered barn, perfect for weddings and parties. We've hosted many weddings and large social events in the relatively short time it has been available for hire. Guests have enjoyed tailoring the occasion to suit their tastes; dressing-up the covered barn, erecting marquees in the meadows, even hosting silent discos on the lawns. We have a wedding license, which allows you to choose from holding your wedding service in the wonderful gardens or in any of the 5 x covered areas on the estate and in the Manor itself. Crayke Manor is a DIY venue. The Barn offers the perfect blank canvas for you to create the wedding exactly how you dreamed it to be. We charge no corkage nor insist on any preferred suppliers. However, we can happily recommend great local suppliers and wedding planners if and when needed. We can accommodate 32 x sleeping guests if the two additional cottages on site are included.
