Stunning venue ! Got married here on 23rd April 20
Stunning venue ! Got married here on 23rd April 2022 We first visited Coats for a wedding fare having already booked another venue. However instantly fell in love with the Coats and knew we had to get married there. From the planning stages to the day itself Suzanne the wedding coordinator was amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure the day ran smooth. The church is absolutely stunning and the ballroom was the perfect space for the reception. Plenty space for guests and dancing. The grounds of the Coats were perfect for photos as were the stairs. We both had a fantastic day from start to finish. All of our guests commented on how nice the venue looked and how they had such an amazing day.

Hidden Gem
Wonderful new venue for a wedding/wedding reception. A real hidden gem in the heart of Paisley. The church itself has been sensitively restored and refurbished to provide a wonderful space. Highly recommended.

Nothing was too much trouble
We had our wedding here on Saturday 20th of November and couldn’t have asked for anymore in a venue or it’s staff. A huge mention has to go to Tom who took care of every little request we had, nothing was too much trouble. Our guests all commented on what a beautiful building it is. Would highly recommend to anyone considering using this venue

FAQ

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

This is impossible to answer. Each and every wedding we hold here at Coats Paisley is unique to the couple and so different to one another.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Take ten minutes to yourselves, some couples barely get to make eye contact until their first dance. I always encourage my couples to take some time out together just to let everything sink in. After all, you’ve just got married!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

It has got to be in the former church or the iconic steps

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

We have had Eddi Reader perform in our former church and Outlander used our venue for filming if that counts

What’s your favourite canapé?

Got the be the Graze Table, there is so many different nibbles on there.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Cuppa Tea and a big slice of Cake

What is your venue's most unique feature?

There is the intricate beauty of the wood carvings and the spaciousness and symmetry of the sanctuary with its vaulted roof and cruciform shape. Marble, alabaster and mosaics abound. The building, in red sandstone, is Gothic in design, topped with a crown spire rising to more than 60 metres above ground-level.
