Carr Bank Wedding Venue offers a variety of settings for couples to wed. Originally built in 1804 for the Duke of Portland, it has been refurbished whilst maintaining its historical charm with a neutral colour scheme that will complement any wedding style.
The grounds are extensive, enabling photographic opportunities in the bandstand, the Victorian greenhouse and the rose arbour as well as beautiful tree lined parkland for those amazing photographic shots.
Your Ceremony - Your wedding ceremony is the pinnacle of your special day and everything has to be perfect. We have created a new, beautiful ceremony room that brings together traditional elements from the original grandeur of the Manor and fabulous contemporary decor. The ceremony room will be dressed by us or your venue dresser exactly as you want it to be. You will design your own look and feel for your big day, using your own colour scheme and any other features that you would like to add.
Your Wedding Breakfast - We are fully committed to bringing you the best on your wedding day. Your wedding breakfast is a stunning celebration of your marriage and each course is meticulously and exclusively planned so that you and your guests will be truly happy. Everything is made in our kitchens, starting with your personal menu tasting and wine to complement our range of dishes.
Your Evening Event - Making memories. From first dance to last dance, Carr bank Manor will keep it very special for you.

We booked Carr bank because it was stunning. Right from booking the staff (Mark, Grace and Jordan) were so accommodating and wanted to make sure they got everything right for us. The day ran smoothly and our guests complimented the amazing food and venue. The weather wasn’t too great (as expected for an October wedding) but there were plenty of alternatives for stunning photos.

The day ran smoothly and our guests complimented the amazing food and venue. The weather wasn’t too great (as expected for an October wedding) but there were plenty of alternatives for stunning photos. We even managed to go out and take some later on in the day - result!
I cannot thank Carr Bank enough for the work they put in to help us have the wedding of our dreams. We will be forever thankful.
I would definitely recommend this venue to another couple looking to get married.
