We loved the fact that the Ballygally was right beside the sea and the beach.
We loved the fact that the Ballygally was right beside the sea and the beach. It was the most perfect setting for our wedding. The grounds were out of this world, the flowers, the courtyard area, everything! We were sold on it all. The staff at the Ballygally were always so helpful and all of our guests said they felt as though they were treated like Royalty on our wedding day. The food was just out of this world and everyone complimented on what a great day they had at the Ballygally. The breakfast the next morning was unreal and the staff were so kind to all of our guests and ourselves! Thank you team Ballygally for everything.

The staff were outstanding
We had never heard of ballygally before but when I started researching wedding venues they came up as one of the top places for a small wedding. As we knew we wanted less than 30 guests we needed somewhere that would happily cater for that. Other venues we had visited seemed hesitant as we were such a small wedding. As soon as I seen the 1625 room I fell in love. Conor fell in love with the gardens and the idea of getting married outside. We both loved that it was by the sea and how pretty it looked even in bad weather ! The staff were outstanding, from day one Katie went above and beyond and no request was too big. She made us feel so excited about our big day and we could tell she would help us to create our exact version- and she done just that!

Best wedding food the guests have ever had
Kathryn and Aidan wanted a varied menu, so all guests would be catered for. “The feedback from the guests was that the food was the best wedding food they have ever had and I happen to agree!” Adrain commented that his favourite moment of the day was, “When I saw Kathryn at the top of the aisle I was overcome with emotion, more than I thought and I couldn’t speak. I also thoroughly enjoyed the party!” Kathryn struggled to pick her favourite moment and mentioned that there were, “Too many!! The sermon, the speeches, the party, breakfast the next morning with all our guests filling the restaurant were all highlights.”

The day ran so smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about a thing
Ballygally Castle Hotel was the only venue we viewed and we were sold as soon as we had the tour as it was perfect for the type of wedding we wanted but also right on our doorstep so it would be easy for evening guests to get home from.” The wedding ceremony was intimate and dinner was immediate family only (10 guests) in the 1625 room. The couple were then able to hold an evening reception for more guests in the ballroom. “We can’t thank Norman and Bal- lygally Castle enough for helping with all our requests. The day ran so smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about a thing!

Stunning venue
A lovely venue: by the coast, beautiful gardens and full of character inside. Staff all very professional and made the planning so much easier. Food was amazing and service on the day was top class.

Chose Ballygally Castle as the venue because of the location
The couple chose Ballygally Castle as the venue because of the location, the view, the gardens, beach and our one wedding per day policy. The couple wanted their wedding celebration to be relaxed and fun. They didn’t have a distinctive theme but the day had a rustic and vintage feel. The colour scheme was a raspberry pink to match the bridesmaid dresses and for the centrepieces, Keri chose vases with a floating flower and flowers to match the bouquets on top. The room and flowers were by Leaf Designs and the couple was thrilled with the design and decor. When we opened the doors to the Kintyre Ballroom the room looked beautiful. Keri and Joe had a Polaroid camera guest book and later a photo booth which lots of the guests enjoyed alongside an ice cream cart, sweet cart, prosecco, cocktails and giant Jenga.
