I start by understanding YOU. Your story. Your energy. What makes your heart sing. What traditions matter, and what you want to reimagine entirely.
Then we design a ceremony that's built around handcrafted, personalised elements. Not a template with your names inserted. A ceremony that looks and feels entirely like you because it IS you.
What happens in our time together:
We talk about your story deeply. We explore rituals — some traditional, some completely new, some totally reimagined versions of old ones. We shape every word, every moment, every detail around what matters to you.
You'll have a run-through before the day so everything feels right. And on the day itself, I'm there delivering a ceremony that you and your guests will treasure.

I arrive early. I know your vision inside out. I'm the calm presence who makes sure every detail — the colours, the flowers, the music, the rituals, the handcrafted elements — all come together exactly as you imagined.
I work with your venue, your suppliers, your people. I'm reading the room. I'm adjusting. I'm making sure the energy stays right.
But mostly? I'm making sure YOUR vision actually happens. That nothing gets lost. That the magic you created in those design sessions is exactly what unfolds on the day.

That's completely normal. And honestly? That's often when the best ideas come.
In our first consultation, we're not starting from a blank slate — we're starting from YOU. Your story. How you met. What makes you laugh together. What matters. What traditions you love, and what you want to reimagine.
My job is to ask the right questions so YOUR vision emerges. Sometimes couples walk in knowing exactly what they want. Sometimes they don't. Either way, we figure it out together. We talk. Your ideas spark mine. My ideas spark yours. By the end, you'll have a clear picture of what your ceremony looks and feels like.

Can we do something really unconventional?
Absolutely. That's everything to me.
For my own wedding I wrote a Roald Dahl inspired reading, we had a 10 year old best man, we had homemade personalised versions of our fave games for the reception, I made my husbands waistcoat, and the Order of Service and we got married on a cliff edge at sunset overlooking Dubrovnik with just 7 of us.

What does "handcrafted elements" actually mean?
It means I'm making something with my hands, specifically for you. Not ordering from a supplier. Not using a template. Actually making.
A handfasting cord could be made from fabrics that matter to you — your grandmother's embroidery, colours that represent your families, materials chosen because of what they mean. I make it with intention, for you.
An order of service isn't a template with your names inserted. I design it around your aesthetic, your colours, your ceremony flow. It's printed beautifully and becomes a keepsake for your guests.
Rituals and personalised elements are created specifically for your story. Unity candles personalised. Blessing stones. Symbolic items. Things people will touch, see, remember.
The whole point is: you have tangible objects from your ceremony that feel entirely like you. Not generic. Not mass-produced. Made by hand, with care, specifically because it's yours.
Can we hire just handcrafted elements without ceremony?
Yes. Absolutely.
If you're using another celebrant, you can still work with us for the creative, handcrafted magic. Want a handfasting cord designed and made by us? An order of service we've created? Rituals we've developed for your story?
You get the handcrafted vision without the full ceremony package. We'll create a custom quote based on what you'd like to create together.
How many meetings do we have?
It depends on what you choose, but here's roughly how it works:
If you do the full Union Ceremony package:
- Initial consultation — deep dive into your story, your vision, what matters
- Design meetings — we shape the ceremony together, explore rituals, make decisions
- Vow/speech support — help crafting your words (can be via email or meeting)
- Ceremony run-through — we walk through it together so everything feels right
- The day itself — I'm there delivering your ceremony
How many separate meetings that is depends on you and your process. Some couples prefer fewer, longer meetings. Some prefer several shorter check-ins. We figure out what works for you.
If you add The Visionary support, I'll also meet with your suppliers in advance so I understand your vision inside out.
The goal isn't to have lots of meetings. It's to have the RIGHT meetings so your vision is crystal clear and feels supported.
