As a documentary wedding photographer, I'll capture the feeling of your day. I photograph weddings on both digital cameras and analogue film for couples who value incredible photography. I get swept up in every wedding and pride myself on the quality of my compositions. While I enjoy photography a lot, but what I really love is people; I’m always looking for what’s different about them, not their similarities. Unforgettable moments need incredible photography. I focus on capturing authentic moments in a cinematic style.
My documentary wedding photography is for couples who want to remember the beauty of their day without turning their wedding into a production. You’re only getting married once; this is far too important to leave up to chance. With my years of experience, you will always be able to tell your love story.

What is your most memorable wedding?
I fondly remember photographing the last wedding before the COVID-19 lockdown. I was one of only four people attending because of social distancing. It was a beautiful, romantic, intimate display of love. Most of us don't realise how fortunate we are moment to moment. Remember to enjoy the small things. I'll cherish my memory their wedding all the while I'm quietly holed up indoors, for as long as the chaos of this pandemic takes to subside.

What about your business are you most proud of?
I get asked how I know the bride and groom at most weddings. Wedding guests assume we go way back because my couples are so relaxed around me.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Are you ready for the BIGGEST thing couples forget when they reach out to a photographer for the first time? Hire someone you'd like to hang out with for a day! Your photographer is going to be hanging out with your closet family and friends. You'll also need to spend time walking them through your plans before your wedding so they can give you the best service possible. Don't settle for someone you don't like. You're getting married; this should be more than just business for everyone involved.
You should love your photographer, and importantly, they should love you! I adore my couples. I feel honoured they've chosen me to document one the most special days of their lives. As far as I'm concerned, we're basically best friends now! That's what I want for you guys too.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Oh, I've witnessed so many sweet things at weddings, from beloved pets carrying the rings down the aisle to brides secretly learning a new language so the groom's family would understand her vows.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
If I'm available for your wedding date, we arrange a call to get to know each other. I'll ask a few questions to find out if I can give you what you need. So long as you guys are happy to have me around your loved ones, you sign a contract and pay a small deposit then you can tick 'photographer' off your to-do list.

A photo that shows your love in your personality. All couples are different!

My couples trust me to document their bid day in my style
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Embrace the rain, it gives us life! It's dramatic, romantic and beautiful.
Describe how you got into photography.
When I was about eight, my dad used to buy me disposable cameras and little photo albums. My godmother is also a brilliant photographer. She showed me the ropes, and I have been chasing moments ever since.
