In terms of my ethos, I fully respect & honour the fact that each wedding day belongs to the Couple, & that I am invited to be a part of it; to capture the memories, essence & atmosphere of their wedding celebration the most natural way possible, neither stifling or interrupting the flow of the day, or owning it as my personal portfolio opportunity. I see each couple & their expectations as unique, & whilst photography is an important aspect of their day, it is not the only element. I am appreciative of the full day, & so work carefully with each couple in advance to understand their planning, venue, timings, family & guest dynamic, other suppliers & individual touches such that I can work within their day without impeding it. I understand the importance of a good relationship and calm communication with everyone involved throughout the day, especially when a curveball comes along!
