Personal Message from the Manager
Name of Wedding Contact: Mark Elliott
Hi There! Thank you for viewing my photography. I'd love to discuss your big day with you both and see what it is you are looking for. Please get in touch and we can have a chat.
Mark was absolutely brilliant from start to finish! Mark came to view the venue with us so we could identify the best places to get photos and come up with a plan for the day to make the most out of it.
Mark made everything so simple and came up with some amazing photo ideas. He was brilliant with all the different group shots we needed, and handled tired kids with ease!
Mark made both my husband and I so much more relaxed in front of a camera - something we were both nervous of before. Mark also dealt with guests who hate having their photos done, and it didn’t feel intrusive at all.
We received so many compliments from guests and other vendors about how smooth the day ran with the photographs and how nice Mark is.
Mark even managed to get us 10 photos edited ready to share with family the same night! I am beyond excited to see the other photos after that sneak peak!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mark to anyone - he has that perfect balance of posed and candid photos.

The best we could have asked for!
Mark was absolutely brilliant, he captured everything I wanted and more. I was after a lot of candid shots, to get the parts of the day that I’d miss being in other places as well as some family ones and he got everything I asked for, the turn around was really good as well with updates from mark and it not taking too long to get the photos, and there’s so many!! I love them all so much and can’t wait to put them up. Thank you so much mark!

We've had a great experience with Mark from start to finish, he is professional and accommodating in all ways. Before our wedding is was asking all the questions about what we want and guiding us and on the way he was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and even helped with a technical issue with our laptop! No question we would recommend him to any friends, family or others.

The best photographer
Honestly can not recommend mark enough! From the first email he was so easy going and he carried that right on until the end. Me and my husband are very awkward when it comes to pictures however he made us feel so comfortable, honestly he's such a natural. I absolutely hate my smile and mark was ok with that which I really appreciate, he didn't push all the time like usual phptographers do! He will go to any lengths to capture those beautiful moments and to make your special day run with no hiccups. Even giving us a few sneak peaks on the wedding night for us to announce our magical day to our family and friends who could not be there. The pictures... Wow I am absolutely amazed, they are stunning and that's only the first 8 pictures, we can't wait to receive the rest and to see what a smashing job mark has done. Honestly mark we can't thankyou enough!xxx

Everything you could want in a wedding photographer
Five stars doesn’t seem like enough - we’re so happy we found Mark to capture our special day, we genuinely don’t think anyone could have done it better. Fantastic from the first instant, he put us completely at ease when we first spoke and we felt he completely understood our vision and could make it a reality. He stayed in touch throughout planning, giving us one less thing to worry about in the build up. On the day he was fantastic; professional yet warm and friendly and fabulous with all guests, young and old. The photos are just breathtaking, we couldn’t love them more. They encapsulate our day and all those special memories so perfectly, we have spent hours looking at them and reliving the joy! Thank you so much Mark, you are incredible at what you do.
Mark Elliott Photography Location & Contact Details
My most memorable wedding took place at the beautiful Eaves Hall in Clitheroe, Lancashire. The place was stunning, the bride and groom were amazing and the guests made you feel part of the wedding party. The amazing staff at Eaves Hall put on a real show. The wedding in question can be seen within the Real Weddings section of my profile so go check it out!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, Relaxed, Candid, Friendly, Documentary
What about your business are you most proud of?
My proudest moment was when I was able to officailly turn professional & having some of the best clients any business could ask for.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Stay Relaxed. Planning an wedding can become stressful, if you let it. Don't get caught up on every detail, worrying if everything will work out right. You have to take a step back and enjoy yourselves and cherish this moment in your lives. Wedding Venues, Vendors & Suppliers are all their to help & ease the stress of planning your big day so both of you just enjoy the moment :)
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I've noticed in recent years that the traditional wedding cake is slowly disappearing with more variety than ever before. The most quirky cake I have seen was a Colin the Caterpillar with a family of mini Colins.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
1. Pre-Consultation Call - after recieving your initial email once you have enquired, and looked over my email in reply, we will set up (whenever suits you best) a chat and get to know each other a little, speak about minor details, answer any questions you have and what each of us expect, a nice relaxed friendly call.
2. Video Chat/Face to Face - here we get down to business, going over the details regarding your big, making sure we are on the same page so to speak & answering any further questions.
3. Venue Tour - Whether it's weeks in advance or the night before your wedding day, I like to get together and do a run through of your wedding day with you at the venue. This allows me to get accustomed to the place, making my day a little bit easier as knowing where and when parts of your day take place, means I won't be missing any special moments. This may also be first time we meet in person, so being able to have a friendly chat with you helps relax us all ready for your day.
4. The Wedding Day - dependant upon whether you've selected Bronze, Silver or Gold, I will generally meet you both on my arrival & say hello to everyone and then I'll jump straight in & start capturing your wonderful day.
5. Once the Wedding is complete, I'll then begin post processing (the editing part) to get all of your pictures organised and looking fantastic. You'll recieve a sneak peek gallery with approx 30 images after 24-48 hours.I'll upload them to your own personal Gallery and sent you an invite to viewing them. I will check with you both that you are happy with the pictures & make any altercation you may wish to make sure you are both pleased with your images. Final Images take around 4-8 weeks dependant on time of year e.g. wedding season, which then get uploaded to your gallery. Once you've looked through all of your images, you'll need to select your favourite 20 for your keepsake box.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
This one would have to be a couple only shot, outside in front of the venue, it's intimate, loving and helps showcase the stunning location your chose to have your special day. ( Close 2nd - you have to capture the father of the bride, seeing there daughter for the first time in their wedding dress )
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
The most original photo I was asked to capture was a Saber Arch in which the bride and groom pass under an honorary arch of sabers, typically when exiting the building in which the wedding ceremony took place.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Staying Calm! We do live in the UK after all, so it just becomes an added feature to your wedding day.
Describe how you got into photography.
Being an avid amateur photographer for over 10 years, when life gave me an unexpected twist, I decided it was the time to take my passion to the next level. Joining the Master Photographers Association allowed me to adapt to the world of wedding photography, with insights and mentoring from some of the best photographers in the country, leading to today, running my own business!
