We’re Dan & Georgia, a husband-and-wife wedding photography team based in Burton-on-Trent.
We believe your wedding photography should feel natural, relaxed and completely you. Our aim is to capture the moments you’ll want to remember for years to come. From the big, emotional moments to the little things happening in between.
We love photographing weddings as they really happen. The nervous excitement before the ceremony, the moment you see each other for the first time, the laughter during the speeches, the hugs, the happy tears and all those in-between moments you might not even notice on the day.
Our approach is unobtrusive and easy-going. We’ll give you direction when you need it, especially for your couple and group photos, but we won’t spend your whole day posing you. We want you to spend your wedding actually enjoying it, while we quietly capture the story as it unfolds.
We’re also a married couple ourselves, so we know first-hand how quickly the day goes and how important it is to have photographs that bring those feelings back.
Georgia Mae Photography began after we planned our own wedding in 2024. Being on the other side of the camera made us realise how important it is to find photographers you genuinely feel comfortable with and that’s exactly what we want to offer our couples.
We’re here to capture your day honestly, beautifully and in a way that feels like you.

Where do you cover?
We’re based in Staffordshire and regularly photograph weddings across Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and the wider midlands.
We’re always happy to travel, so if you’re planning a wedding further afield, we’d love to hear about it.
How do we book you for the wedding?
Once you’ve enquired, we’ll arrange a chat to learn more about your plans and make sure we’re the right fit for each other. If you’d like to move forward, we’ll send over a booking agreement and invoice for your booking.
Once that’s complete, your date is officially secured in our diary.
How do you handle family photos on the wedding day?
We know family photographs are important, but they shouldn’t take over your day.
Before the wedding, we’ll work with you to create a list of group photographs you’d like. On the day, we’ll keep everything organised and efficient so you can spend less time waiting around and more time celebrating with your guests.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes! We love engagement sessions and include a complimentary couple shoot with every full story package.
It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to get to know each other before the wedding and helps you feel more relaxed and confident in front of the camera.
Many couples tell us it’s one of the best ways to ease any nerves before the big day, and you’ll receive a beautiful collection of photographs to keep or use for save the dates, guest books or wedding stationery.
