Brian O’Carroll Photography Full Description
Your wedding will be amazing! Everyone will be making fabulous new memories with you, and those great memories will live on. These are my thoughts as I work: the responsibility that I take to heart. Photographs are a way to re-live and share that day and to remind ourselves about the important things that your wedding represents... love and friendship, commitment to the future, gratitude and support between family and friends. My photography draws upon a sense of being there that I put into the images when I’m taking and processing them. I remember to be present when I’m taking the photographs so that my own memories and personal experience of the day will colour the results (pun intended!) and bring a depth of feeling to the experience of remembering and sharing those magical moments. My "Whole of the Day" wedding photography packages are all-inclusive: I will start either at ‘preparations’ or arrivals at the venue and stay for the rest of the day, taking documentary (or “Reportage” or “Candid”) photos throughout that time. I’m interested in the true experience of your event to meet my own high photographic expectations. All the key moments throughout the day will be captured… the first kiss, dance, piece of cake, etc… My "Heart of the Day" wedding photography packages will suit more intimate weddings — a few hours of photography, suited to a limited number of guests and smaller venues, resulting in a certain number of finished images online to keep, print and share. Helps to share the wedding budget with the tailor, the baker, the chef and maybe the estate agent. Printed Wedding Albums remain a popular way to share memories without resorting to “devices”. Albums are available to order in advance and they are handmade in UK to a high, long-lasting quality.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

The one where, after the first kiss and the whole wedding party photo, we did the "first run holding hands as a married couple"... it is to become a classic!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

caring, captivating, heart-seeking, gossamer-light and intensely-deep

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Find out about wedding insurance early. You may not need or want it, but it pays to know how it works early so you can see its benefits.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

No. There is no "every couple". The pre-wedding shoot is good, not because of the images, but because it is a rehearsal that removes the worries about being photographed from the day itself. Beyond that, the world is your oyster.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Think about this in advance and have a Rainy Day Plan that everyone can switch to if needed. Venues are good at this - their staff will know what they can do to plan for the Great British weather.

Describe how you got into photography.

My dad put a camera in my hands as a child, and I kept using it.
