I didn't know what dress I wanted and felt very overwhelmed when first arriving but Victoria listened to what I liked about the dresses I was trying on and she chose my dress! Lucy is so knowledgeable and has been able to recommend a seamstress.for alterations and even chose my shoes (I couldn't decide between two styles! And she 100% made the right choice!) Every bride should see Lucy and the team!

Everything about this boutique is amazing! From the initial email and the getting to know you and your venue form the experience has been great! The ladies that work there are so welcoming and it makes it even better when you are welcomed with a Buck’s Fizz to calm your nerves. Brides of Berkhamsted gives you the real wedding dress shopping experience every girl wants!

I was a bit apprehensive about trying on dresses during these times and with all the new covid safety measures but I needn’t have worried! It was an amazingly easy appointment with all staff making it seem effortless. I found my dress in under two hours and thought they had a really lovely selection of styles which were all very reasonably priced and amazing quality. Thanks to the whole team for making it a special day for my mum and I!

I was very nervous about my first wedding dress shopping experience, but from booking, Lucy made everything so easy and personal. I shared my Pinterest board with her before my appointment and then when we arrived Lucy had selected a few dresses she thought might fit the theme. We were welcomed with a Bucks Fizz and had the entire store to ourselves. The warmth and genuine care and attention from Lucy & the team was wonderful and put me at ease immediately. The store itself is beautifully laid out and well lit, something which at first we might not have particularly noticed as you assume all stores would be set up similarly, but after visiting other stores we realised how easy it was to get good pictures of the dresses here. Some other stores didn't have such great lighting and there was a lot going on in the background so it was hard to see the dress as the main focal point. I tried on lots of dresses I loved, and had said at one point "it would be great if there was one with this top, and this bottom"... and immediately Lucy popped down to the rails and came back with the exact dress and as soon as I put it on it was pretty much a given! As I mentioned, we did visit a couple of other stores after BOB but my mind kept coming back to this dress & also to the experience I had had. When thinking about the follow up and lead up to the wedding I thought about how lovely it would be to work with them. I booked a follow up appointment to try on my favourite dresses again, and we were once again looked after wonderfully by Carol & Jess! As soon as I popped the dress on again I loved it! I was worried about the length & if it would change the style once it was altered to my actual length. I asked Carol to pin it up at the hem so we could get an idea and she was more than happy to oblige! And she sent off around the store to see how it moved and how it felt to walk in it and get a good feel for the wear of the dress. So happy I said yes to this dress and I am looking forward to the rest of the journey with the team at Brides of Berkhamsted! Can't wait until October to see it on the day all fitted perfectly!! I can’t thank the ladies at brides of berkhamsted enough for their help! I had seen a specific dress I wanted to try on and they were so helpful and ordered it in my size for me to try on! They were so helpful and make me feel so comfortable in what is quite an overwhelming time trying on dresses for the first tome! Every time I’ve been to the shop we have been treated so well! I can’t recommend them enough!

Following visits to 3 other shops, Brides of Berkhamsted was far and away the best. Friendly greeting and genuine interest in what I was looking for. I ended up buying a dress which was a totally different style from the one I thought I wanted! Jess was absolutely brilliant-very patient and knowledgable throughout my visit. Would certainly recommend.

Had such a lovely time trying on dresses here! The correspondence before the appointment made it feel very personal and a few dresses had been picked out already when we arrived based on what I had said. The whole experience was lovely and relaxed, it was great to have the shop to ourselves and have the time to have a proper look and ask any questions. I am so glad I ended up getting my wedding dress from here, it is perfect!

Brides of Berkhamsted was the first place I visited to try on dresses and I very quickly realised I would be cancelling any other appointments I’d booked elsewhere! The team are absolutely fantastic and I felt so well looked after and they made my whole experience of finding ‘the dress’ so magical and exciting! Julie was so patient whilst I had the very tough decision choosing between two stunning dresses but offered great advice. I am so excited to wear my dress next year!

I had such a wonderful day at Brides of Berkhamsted. The staff were so friendly and I felt at ease as soon as I walked through the door. With the expertise in this area the beautiful dress I went for was hand selected by the staff to suit my personal preferences. I would highly recommend this shops to anyone.

I have had the nicest experience at BOB finding my perfect dress! The staff are so welcoming and so happy to help. They are also genuinely interested in your big day and this really makes a difference to your experience. I have had 3 appointments there and have finally ordered my dress and I could not be happier! Jess helped me choose my dress and has been so lovely throughout my whole experience! I really would recommend BOB to anyone wanting a truly lovely experience when finding their dream wedding dress.
