Sweet Alchemy Wedding Cakes

Contacted Bee to make our cake for our wedding day, and after an initial consultation everything seemed ok; then, after awful communication - Bee leaving things until a couple of days before the event and even only informing us of an unagreed addition to the cake (a chocolate ganache - to accompany lemon? The combination tasted foul and she should have known this) at the time of delivering the cake!! Bee understood and agreed to do us a galaxy theme cake, understanding we wanted vibrant blues, pinks and purples - what did we get? A black/grey butter cream with some gold dots here and there... despite us asking for white ones. Both tiers were meant to be finished in butter cream, but the top tier was covered in fondant so they didn't even match! It was ugly, as well as tasting awful. Upon contacting Bee to resolve the matter, a few emails back and fourth and then she just cut off communication - stating we should have returned the cake - despite it being a HUGE part of the day with cutting etc. and on top of that, her leaving no box to transport the cake home!! I wouldn't recommend Bee, her cakes or service at all; we'd leave 0 stars if possible.

We just wanted to thank you so much for our amazing cake. Everyone complimented us on the design and the flavours, the whole cake was beautiful and we cannot thank you enough.

Thank you, you exceeded our expectations with a superb cake. It was more than we could have ever wished for. Everyone made wonderful comments and especially the bride and groom. It was the perfect cake to fit the perfect occasion of so much glamour and colour of a Hindu wedding in the true Bollywood style. Thank you so much and we will certainly recommend you to anyone.
