The Wine House Hotel - Quinta da Pacheca

As a wedding photographer I have the opportunity to visit some of the best wedding places in the world and La Quinta da Pacheca is definitely one of them. Located right into one of the finest Douro valley vineyard this place as something magical for your Portuguese wedding. The surroundings are lovely and the rooms are really high standard and offer all the comfort you need. Let’s not forget the swimming pool and the little cabins where you can sleep into the vineyard.

Visited Quinta da Pacheco in the summer of 2022 for a wedding. The venue itself is set in a beautiful part of Portugal and was the perfect setting for a wedding. We stayed in the main hotel and our room was very clean modern and comfortable. We also had friends who stayed in the wine barrel rooms who also loved their quirky stay! We enjoyed a 3 night stay here before heading off to explore Porto which is a short train journey away. Would definitely recommend to others.

Attended a wedding reception at this venue and stayed the night in the hotel - both the reception and the hotel itself are exceptionally well presented. The food was delicious, and the wine itself is divine. The hotel room was exceptionally comfortable and had every creature comfort you could ask for, including a complementary bottle of Pacheca wine. The hotel staff go out of their way to make you feel relaxed and cared for. I couldn’t recommend this winery and hotel enough.
