Food is outstanding

Rooms are great if you get the right one. Standard rooms are quite small. Service is excellent but can seem a bit aloof at times. Food is outstanding. Rooftop breakfast was a daily highlight

Overall The Ashbee was a very nice

Overall The Ashbee was a very nice boutique hotel. The grounds of the hotel are lovely and the staff was polite, welcoming and helpful. We found the room to be slightly small but the maid service in the morning and turndown service in the evening helped tidy it up. The proximity to town is very convenient and the hotel assisted in coordinating dinner reservations and a private beach club. Additionally, the on-property restaurant, St George by Heinz Beck, was excellent.

Had an incredible stay at the hotel! Our room was well kept and spacious. Although the decor is very dated, it was still charming. The outside of the property is stunning(both the front entrance and back pool/garden area)and it's extremely convenient to walk to all of the best parts of Taormina within minutes. We didn't have to use our car once while there. The breakfast included in our stay was the best breakfast we had during our 2 week stay in Sicily(with the best views from the rooftop)

Everything about this Hotel is 5 stars starting with the incredible service and friendliness from the staff. The view is amazing and the rooms are very nice as well as always clean.

Lovely four night stay at this beautiful hotel. All the staff are superb, special mentions to Francesco in the restaurant, and Antonio at reception. A memorable Ruby wedding anniversary. Faultless.
