Welcome to Palás Cerequio, the temple of Barolo, a charming relais and the ideal starting place to discover the Langhe, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Located in La Morra, in the heart of one of the most famous crus of the «King of wines», Palás Cerequio offers the luxury and magnetic charm of a total immersion in the world of Piedmont wine, allowing you to savor every moment with calm and sensibility.
The facility, owned by the historical Michele Chiarlo winery, once an ancient noble palace (Palás in Piedmontese dialect), has been completely renovated and offers its guests the unique experience of staying immersed among the vineyards, surrounded by lush nature, breathtaking landscapes and “artistic” spaces studied in detail.
The walls of Palás recount the most symbolic crus of Barolo through the works of Giancarlo Ferraris, a painter close to Michele Chiarlo, as the creator of his most famous labels. Next to the paintings are cases displaying lumps of earth from where the miracle begins, showing guests the differences and peculiarities of the area's lands.
Inside the Caveau of Cerequio, aside from the collection of over 6,000 bottles, there can also be found precious documents preserved: the celebrated viticultural and oenological Monograph of the province of Cuneo, a volume written by Lorenzo Fantini in 1879.
Everything at Palás Cerequio is about the story and passion for Barolo, for quality wines and the joy of life, a typical trait of these extraordinary hills.
