Here around the VIIIth century b.C. the village was founded by the Etruscans that were living of agriculture and sheeps breading. Rosennano was first mentioned in 1448 and it has remained untouched throughout the centuries as a sacred and peaceful hamlet, that not even wars could destroy.
The Main House, the so called Casale, is identified as one of the main buildings of the village, on the street leading to the square with the little, cozy church, where you can sit and admire the magnificent view of the Senese hills. The building was magnificently recovered by a late restoration of 1991 in which people have maintained the original shape, materials, and style of the building.
The Rinaldi Family has started this magnificent journey in time in 2014, thinking that this experience in history and traditions could enrich all other people desiring to meet the real Tuscan countryside, with its silences, the singing of the birds and cicadas in Summer. You can ride on the dirt road, the so-called white road, an ancient Etruscan-Roman pathway to travel in time and history. In order to find a warm ancient hospitality and true peace.
