An expression of Hospitality, Family Values and Tradition that’s strong and alive, as it was in the 1600s, the year in which this ancient Manor House was owned by the Colpi family who for centuries played a leading role in the history of the plateau. The owners of various alpine cottages and parcels of land, the family used to take up residence in this villa to deal with their affairs during the summer, and then come back again at Christmas. At that time, they would celebrate the festive period by gathering together the local people and serving them some excellent mulled wine. As forerunners of innovation the Colpi family loved the Plateau and as entrepreneurs they contributed to the development of livestock breeding and the production of Asiago cheese which used to be stored in the basement of the Villa.
