Horetown House

Horetown House is a very special wedding venue. Niamh, Linda, Tamara, Graham and the rest of the staff run a magical place. From our first visit, we fell in love with this place because of the warm welcome and at home feeling you get when you walk through the door. Linda is so hands on throughout the planning process and on the day which is very much appreciated for a Type A bride. Tamara was so helpful with all the room allocation and responded to any of my questions. She was so welcoming and friendly to all our guests which made the couple of days that extra bit special. Where do I even begin with the food - we are massive foodies and good food was one of the top things we wanted at our wedding. They smashed it. Our guests are still talking about it and have all said how it was the best wedding meal they have ever had. I am still dreaming about the beef and strawberries. Thank you again for the best couple of days. We cannot wait to visit again in the near future. Megan & David

Visited for a family wedding. Spectacular venue. Stayed for the weekend in Shepherd Huts. Staff warm and friendly, food and wedding events just perfect. Such a fabulous spot for a wedding... so much fun

What a wonderful place. My friend got married here and due to my dairy allergy I had selected vegan. Staff were very careful to ensure I got my meals correctly. In the evening when they had prepared extra food, a young waiter actually came to find me to see if I wanted my meal, and brought it to me.Then there’s the owner and his sister, very friendly and lovely people. I wish all places were like yours, your ethos is such that your staff are clearly happy where they work and this shows.

My husband & I, got married this summer at Horetown House, and to say it was a wonderful experience would be an understatement.There is no ask too big, Niamh & Linda have you covered and taken care of, without ever making it feel like it was effort for them. Sustainability is at the heart of everything they do at Horetown, The fact that so much of produce is grown right there on the land not only adds to the beauty of the grounds, but everything we ate was absolutely delicious too!!Thank you all

Just a short note for the vegans :) I stayed at HH recently and the team could not have been more accommodating of my dietary requirements. Every meal presented was delicious. And obviously the service and accommodation were top notch as others have mentioned.

We had our wedding here almost 8 years ago and returned once again this weekend for a wedding of a dear pal. The venue is as incredible as ever and staff continue to go that extra mile for their guests. Tom was an absolute gentleman as was Matthew (who went above and beyond to ensure we got home safe). Would love to return again some time in the future.
