Ilisia Hotel Athens

The Ilisia Hotel was home to to me and the teenage students with whom I traveled to Athens from the US for ten days of travel study. What a great place. The location is excellent, the hotel is clean and very comfortable, but the really great thing is that the staff are welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful. Great location, clean rooms. Breakfast is basic and no restaurant for dinner.

Nice hotel perhaps a little bit vintage but the service is perfect especially the bar which is handled by a wonderful person. She makes perfect cocktails and she is very friendly. You can discuss with her and she gave me some very good adresses for different restaurants closed to the hotel.

Great location, really pleasant and very clean rooms, amazing bar with excellent variety of cocktails and the best beer in town Vergina beer !!! But the thing that makes this such an amazing place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly polite, hospitable, helpful and generous with their time and advice. Its THE place to be when in Athens !!! Well done folks !
