Domaine de la Groirie

My husband and I adopted the Domaine de la Groirie as a base for romantic getaways, just a few kilometers from home! We literally fell under the charm of the place: the rooms and their decorations imbued with the love for art and history of the owners of the estate, the charm of the park and the vegetable garden, the kindness and professionalism of the welcome ... A discussion with first Mr., then Mrs. Durant allowed us to better understand the history of this hotel/reception room, all the love and care that was given to the choice of each decorative element, work of art... In short: we are on our second visit and there will be others! Also note for gourmets/foodies: the breakfasts but also the platters of regional land or sea products offered are a treat! We had a great time at Domaine de la Groirie. The setting is relaxing with beautiful park, a beautiful swimming pool and spacious rooms. The welcome was also very friendly. We recommend this place!

The setting is magnificent. We reserved the cocktail area (mirror room and part of the gardens) for our wedding on 30/7 as well as a room in the evening. Our guests were more than delighted by the setting of the castle. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating (we were able to have breakfast after checking out). We are happy to have made this place known because we know that many of our loved ones will return there. For our part, we plan to return there to fully enjoy the setting with our parents.
