Domaine des Mottais welcomes you for weddings designed as true weekend celebrations, in a former 17th-century Charentaise agricultural estate, just 15 minutes from La Rochelle.
Spanning 5 hectares, the estate offers a reception hall, outdoor spaces, a professional catering kitchen, a fully equipped bar, a breakfast room, and charming accommodations. All of this is available for exclusive use: only one event at a time, ensuring the entire property is dedicated to your celebration.
A completely private estate
The Domaine is available from Friday 3pm to Sunday 6pm , with full access to the winery, outdoor areas, furniture and equipment, as well as accommodation according to the chosen package.
Private bookings are also available during the week, from Tuesday 3pm to Thursday 6pm , with a discount on all packages.
The packages are adaptable to your project: duration of privatization, accommodation, organization of spaces and additional services can be customized.
Two ways to experience the Domaine
- The Signature Package includes the spaces of the Estate and 16 beds for Saturday night , divided between Le Pigeonnier and Les Communs.
- The Prestige Package offers exclusive use of the entire estate with 44 beds for two nights, from Friday to Sunday , as well as a complimentary bridal suite for the newlyweds. A true escape with your loved ones, from the preparations until the following morning.
The Wine Cellar
With an area of 175 m² , Le Chai can accommodate up to 120 guests for a seated dinner and 190 for a cocktail reception .
It features integrated sound system, video projector and cooling system, as well as the necessary furniture for your reception. The evening can continue until 5 a.m.
Spaces for every moment
The Domaine offers several complementary spaces:
- The counter (34 m²), equipped for serving drinks: beer tap, glass washer, ice machine and refrigerated storage.
- The Catering Office (40 m²), to professional standards, with cold room, ovens, warming room, negative storage and dishwashing area.
- The Breakfast Room (80 m²), with a view of the pond, is ideal for brunch, a cocktail reception or a children's playroom.
- 3,500 m² of outdoor spaces : courtyards, gardens and terraces for secular ceremony, cocktail, photos and activities.
- A 12 x 6 m swimming pool , located in the inner courtyard.
Sleeping on site
The Prestige package can accommodate up to 44 people :
- Harvesters' House : 8 bedrooms, sleeps up to 28
- The Dovecote : 1 bedroom, sleeps up to 4
- The Commons : dormitory with 12 beds
Additional nights can be added to the package, subject to availability.
Your wedding, your vendors
No caterer is imposed and there is no corkage fee. You are free to choose your vendors and design a wedding that reflects your personality.
The furniture and equipment needed for the reception are included in the packages.
